The Obsidian Archive is a modern gothic bookstore being created in Arizona for readers who crave dark myth, occult lore, and speculative worlds. This is set to be a curated sanctuary for stories of gods and demons, ghosts, witches, and lore.

The Obsidian Archive is a modern gothic bookstore being created in Arizona for readers who crave dark myth, occult lore, and speculative worlds.
This is not going to be a general bookstore. It is set to be a curated sanctuary for stories of gods and demons, ritual magic, shadowed histories, and otherworldly realms; where world-building, power systems, and imagination are treated with intention and respect.
My vision for The Obsidian Archive goes beyond retail. The space will be designed to feel immersive, welcoming, and sensory-conscious, with quiet/calm shopping hours, community programming, curated author partnerships, and an in-store café offering coffee, tea, and wine for readers who want to linger.
This fundraiser exists to help bring a bookstore into the world that centers bold storytelling, marginalized voices, and genre-bending imagination, while building a lasting community around readers who have always wanted a space created specifically for them.
The Obsidian Archive is being built from the ground up. And this campaign invites you to help write its very first chapter.
For Those Who Can’t Pledge (But Still Want to Help)
Not everyone can pledge — and I want you to hear this clearly: That does not make your support any smaller.
This fundraiser doesn’t run on money alone. It runs on momentum. On whispers passed from reader to reader. On someone saying, “You need to see this,” and placing it in careful hands like a forbidden book pulled from a hidden shelf.
If Obsidian Archive made you pause…
If you’ve ever longed for a bookstore that felt like a sanctuary instead of a sales floor…
If you believe dark stories, myth, magic, and quiet rebellion deserve a physical home…
Then sharing this project is a powerful kind of backing.

Obsidian Archive is a community-built sanctuary.
A bookstore like this doesn’t rise because one person dreams loudly enough.
It rises because readers decide they want something different.
Because they believe stories deserve atmosphere.
Because they choose to carry the flame forward.
If you share, you are part of that. You’re helping open the doors.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for keeping the lantern lit.
