Project Update: Surveys are live! - Some edits and troubleshooting
Hi again everyone! As you (hopefully) will have noticed, all surveys have now been sent to backers. We have already received a bunch of responses so thank you very much for your quickness! We have also encountered some issues, both brought up by backers and others we noticed on our end. We have made some edits to the survey to address these. Here is a overview of the changes we have made since the survey launched:
- Early bird backers (those who backed in the first 48 hours) get a free button. Initially a mistake on our part made it seem like every backer entitled to it was getting two buttons rather than one. This has since been corrected! Your survey should now show just the one early bird free button as part of your order.
- The free double-sided print featuring both our covers that was unlocked as part of our final stretch goal was initially not included in the survey. That was an oversight on our part. Every backer with physical goods in their order should now see the double-sided print included for free. We have also made this print available as an add-on in case anyone wants some extra copies.
- Backers who purchased digital goods only do not need to pay for any shipping. Initially the free goodies (early bird button and now the double-sided print) were automatically added to all backers that qualified for it, which created shipping costs for some people that had only ordered digital goods. This has since been corrected.
- Our offer was always that the physical freebie were only for those with physical goods in their orders already, precisely to avoid creating shipping costs for those that did not have them to begin with. However, if there is anyone with a digital-only order willing to pay the shipping costs in order to get the free goodies, please shoot us an email to [email protected] and we will happily add them back to your order. The shipping costs would be the minimum for your area, so 5 USD for US backers, 11 USD for Canada, and 14 USD for all other countries.
If you already filled your survey, we highly recommend giving it a look-over now that these changes are in place. If you see something that doesn't seem correct or encounter any issues please feel free to let us know through our email or discord server.
On some lighter news, we are happy to announce our pre-order store is now live! If you have a friend who missed the campaign, you can point them there. Zines and merch will be available to order until the survey closes at the end of the month.
Provided things go smoothly while with locking down surveys and charging shipping, we are still more or less on track for shipping in May. In case you needed something else to look forward to in that month.
