I’m ecstatic to say that the sample bag and inserts for the soul gem itabag are on their way to my studio! The bag has already reached a domestic agent from Baigou to NYC, so it shouldn’t take long at all 😊
Once received, there will be a 1-2 week period where my collaboration partners and myself build the visual materials for the official backerkit campaign. I will be making initial content first, and then shipping the bag to Ichigorose and Abominicky for them to film their promotional content! While the bag is in their hands, I will be working on drafts for stretch goal item designs. Once everything is organized and edited together, and we can confirm the sample is perfect, we will be READY FOR LAUNCH! 🎉🥳

Hello all my beautiful magical girls! And magical boys.. and magical everyone! 😁💖 I come bearing exciting news!
Our manufacturer has sent a first look at the pattern they’ve created for the bags, and it looks AMAZING! My favorite features are the gorgeous zip-up front panel and the spacious inner pocket. Also the lace detail cutout on the outer pockets, aren’t they to die for?!
(Fabrics are scraps for pattern creation and are not the fabrics which will be used on the bags!)
The side pockets are intentionally built to fit a standard sized disposable water bottle to solve the pesky issue of most itabag pockets being completely non-functional.
The front panel is built with ease, quality, and durability in mind! Instead of a standard itabag with a difficult to access pin area, this bag fully unzips in the front to allow for seamless decoration and panel swapping.
My only feedback was to fix the slightly off center / crooked top D-ring, but it’s honestly all I could spot that seemed out of place. I hope you all adore it as much as I do! 😁💖🙏🏻✨

Thank you for being here so early. My name is Alistair, the owner and operator of Thistlecrux LLC! In collaboration with my two Madoka Magica expert friends, @Ichigorose and @Abominicky, I am creating my very first line of itabags!
As of now, my manufacturer is secured and payment for a sample has been sent! We are selecting fabrics for the bags, and a test print of the front has been made.
Right now, we are on track for the first sample to be completed within a month’s time, but I am allowing additional time before the backerkit launch as safety padding should something not go to plan!
