🦇 raised $67,334 from 700 backers in just 30 days (before taxes, manu costs, etc)
🦇 funded nine design variants & unlocked nine pin designs
🦇 raised $616 for bat conservation in partnership with the lubee bat conservancy!
all i can really say is that i feel incredibly lucky to have had you all join me on this journey so far and i couldn't be more excited to get started on sampling and production for the rest of the batpacks!
so... what happens next??
FIRST, we need to get our funds! if you pledged to the project, your card should have been charged this morning, but sometimes it can take up to a week depending on your bank!
funds will head my way around the 8th or so, which is also when backerkit surveys will start going out for you to choose which designs you want & pay for shipping and all that!
so, for now, just hang tight! I'll be posting a much more detailed time frame for the next few months in a day or two :3
one last heads up, everyone -- the batpack campaign ends at midnight PST TONIGHT, so if you don't wanna miss out on exclusive campaign rewards, including our cross-collab with perished plushies, now's your last change to get those pledges in!
that also means that your cards will be charged once the campaign is over as well!

With unfortunate news I'm announcing that I will be refunding everyone on this project. For the sake of transparency I wanted to make everyone aware ; Because of a personal issue, midnight springs has decided to demand resell rights to my design. I don't agree to this request to claim design rights because while she did half of the 3d mock up for manufacturing reasons, I did the other half when I had a better understanding of what the manufacturer was needing to make the mold. As such I paid for my samples of the roses nose rings to be produced.
I will be refunding everyone who backed for this campaign. I thank everyone who supported us, but I no longer feel comfortable hosting this project because of this.

I do not give midnight springs the rights to produce or sell my design.
In an effort to be transparent and clear up any remaining confusion, my decision to ultimately cancel and refund this project was not solely over a dispute of artistic rights. MidnightSprings insisted that I send the project funds to her personal accounts instead of her business paypal.
I still stand by my decision to cancel this project - not only for my rights as an artist, but also for the safety and protection of backers who chose to support this project.
With final regards to the dispute of my septum ring design, MidnightSpring stated with no ambiguity or room for discussion that she would be retaining the rights of my design. This design currently has a sample mold that I personally paid for out of pocket, and I still do not give her permission or the rights to use the mold or make reproductions of the design. Regardless on whether or not it would be repeat variants.
Again, while it is disappointing to cancel the project after a successful campaign, this decision is in the best interest of my business and the backers who pledged money for this project to be properly managed and fulfilled.
Refunds have been started and are processing. They will be posting within 5 - 7 busines days. I will double check tomorrow to make sure that things are working correctly on my end.

hi everyone!! we only have FOUR DAYS LEFT of the batpack campaign, and i have just a tiny update to share with you today!
i had a few people request the ability to pledge to receive the bat head pins without also needing to get a batpack, so ive added a PIN LOVERS TIER that includes all the bat head pins + the campaign exclusive pin & sticker!
You can also choose to add on a batpack to this pledge, too, so if you want a full set of bat heads this could also just be a more efficient pledge for you too!
at this time, i don't currently have plans to add in new stretch goals to the campaign; while I do have other ideas for batpack designs, I'd rather save them for a series 2 batpack campaign next year maybe! plus, this way all our extra funds can go towards ordering more batpacks to sell online & at markets/conventions going forward!
(but whether to do a series 2 batpack campaign or a pride themed batpack campaign.... HMMM....)
