Project Update: Livestream Hangout Sept 22 at 7:30!
To show our gratitude for your support and to celebrate, we are going to be having a little livestream hangout/chat/concert on Sept 22 at 7:30 ET! We will be sharing a bit of the process of making this whole thing come together as well, and answering questions in the chat and giving some sneak previews of the songs!
You can watch on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/events/1160514961692032/
Or on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@WindborneSingers/live
Here is the invite below:
Join Windborne in celebrating our newest project: a book & album of music for midwinter called To Warm the Winter Hearth. Filled with lush vocal harmony and packaged inside a full-color book, itβs our most exciting project yet!
You can also join us year-round on our Patreon page: https://www.patreon.com/windborne
hoping (a) that you use regular mail to send the physical items to Canada, the other shippers charge wicked "handling" and "brokerage" fees on top of duties and (b) that you don't declare the value to be the whole pledge just something reasonable for the book part.
i got the Wassail option because i thought getting some choir arrangements would be great. how is it going to work? i wouldn't want to choose until i have listened to the songs!

Lauren: Isn't it funny how things often come full circle. Right in front of your father in the painting are John Roberts & Tony Barrand. I never met Tony, but I know John Roberts & his sometime singing partner Debra Cowan, mostly from the Mystic/Connecticut Sea Music Festival. John also lives in Schenectady, NY & occasionally frequents a restaurant where my son worked for a while. I've helped fund two Windborne albums now, & am a Patreon of Debra. Looking forward to getting the album and book.
Great previews on this album, I am so excited to experience it and share it with my partner
