Vellum is a translucent paper that allows artwork and text beneath it to remain partially visible. The Ancient Tome Collector Edition will feature illustrated vellum pages bound directly into the book, creating a layered effect between the vellum artwork and the printed page beneath it.

The campaign images are digital mockups and design previews created to show the intended appearance of the finished book. Colors, materials, positioning, and other production details may vary slightly during manufacturing. Final files and physical proofs will be reviewed before full production begins.

As the campaign reaches new milestones, sleeping dragons may awaken and reveal additional campaign upgrades or newly available add-ons. Some upgrades will be automatically added to qualifying pledges at no additional charge. Other unlocks may reveal new physical or digital items that become available to purchase. The Ancient Tome Collector Edition is already designed as a complete collector experience. Campaign upgrades simply give us the opportunity to make it even more special.

Yes, while available. Only 50 Dragon Queen Artifact Bags will ever be made. Because of the bag's size, value, and separate fulfillment requirements, the Artifact Bag is available to U.S. shipping addresses only during this campaign.

Holiday delivery is not guaranteed. However, if 10 additional Artifact Bags are claimed during the campaign, the plan is to upgrade them to expedited air freight and use split fulfillment, giving the bags their best chance of reaching collectors during the 2026 holiday season. If the challenge is not reached, bags will follow their standard production and fulfillment schedule.

Yes, for eligible rewards and select destinations. Digital rewards are available worldwide. The Dragon Queen Artifact Bag is U.S.-only, and certain other oversized, high-value, or specialty items may have additional shipping restrictions. Available destinations will be identified during the campaign or pledge manager process.

Shipping will be charged separately from your pledge and calculated based on your final reward selection, add-ons, package weight, and destination. This allows shipping to reflect what you actually order rather than building estimated shipping costs into every pledge.

International shipments may be subject to VAT, customs duties, import fees, or other taxes depending on your destination. Any charges not collected through the campaign are the responsibility of the backer.

To fulfill your pledge, you must complete your BackerKit survey, provide a valid shipping address when required, and successfully complete all pledge, add-on, and shipping payments. We will send reminders to backers with incomplete surveys or outstanding payment issues during the fulfillment period. Once fulfillment is complete and the project is officially closed, unfulfilled pledges with incomplete surveys, missing information, or outstanding balances will no longer be eligible for fulfillment. Please make sure your survey and payment information are completed before the final fulfillment deadline announced in campaign updates.

No. Some add-ons offered during Dragon Origins are currently in production or available for preorder, including select books and collector items from previous campaigns. Preorder items will be clearly identified in their add-on descriptions. Because production schedules may vary, some items may be fulfilled separately or at different times when appropriate. You'll receive updates throughout production and fulfillment.

BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.

If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
