Shop Update: Packages Are Arriving & First Frames in Progress! 🖼️📦
Hey everyone,
I wanted to drop a quick update from the bench—artwork officially started arriving at the shop last week!
I’ve already been in direct contact with a few of you to finalize design details, mat colorways, and framing layouts. The first round of custom builds is going up on the workbench this week, and I’ll be reaching out to more of you as additional packages arrive.
A Few Important Notes:
* If you haven't heard from me yet, don't worry! You will hear from me as soon as your package lands and gets logged into the file.
* Payment Plans: To keep production running smoothly and ensure materials are fully secured, orders on a payment plan will be moved to the back of the queue until the third payment has cleared. Once that payment is made, we’ll get your build scheduled!
* Artwork Storage: If you've already sent your art in while on a payment plan, don't worry—it’s safely logged, protected, and stored in my flat files until your build window opens up.
As a reminder, there is still zero rush if you haven't shipped your piece yet. Take all the time you need!

Quick Shop Update: Machine Setup & Prepping for Art 🛠️

Just wanted to drop a quick update as we head into the weekend!
Things are moving along smoothly here at the shop. The Valiani is in place, and I’m finishing up the last few setup details and calibration tweaks to have the CNC fully dialed in and ready to roll by the 28th.
I've sent a email to everyone with the shop address for shipping. I know some people haven't decided what to send yet, no worries. I'll have plenty to do right away. I'll reach out to remind you once I'm getting caught up on the others. Some people are local and can reach out to after the 28th. To come by with your art and pick out want you want in person.
*Packing Videos: If you need a refresher on how to safely pack up your pieces, head over to my Facebook page to check out the quick walkthrough videos on flat-packing and tube-packing.
I’ll share another quick update once the first test cuts are officially rolling through the machine. Thanks again for all the support!
I have some huge news to share—the machine is officially purchased!
Thanks to your incredible support, the order is placed, and our Valiani Mat Pro Ultra 150 CNC mat cutter is scheduled to arrive at the shop as early as this Monday!
Shop Prep & What’s Happening Now
•Machine Delivery: The Valiani will be arriving early next week, and we’re getting the workbench area fully cleared and prepped to unload and set it up.
•Tooling & Supplies: I’ve already ordered key setup supplies, and I’m placing orders for the last few remaining specialty materials and tooling pieces over the next few days to get us running at 100%.
•Shop Address & Shipping Info: I will be sending out an email very soon with our shop's mailing address and full instructions on how to package and send your art to us safely so we can get to work!
Keep an eye on your inbox for that address and shipping update in the coming days. I’ll also be sharing photos and video clips of the machine arriving and getting set up on the shop floor.

What I have going on, getting ready. Here's some before pics and what it looks like in here today. Right now I'm waiting for Lowe's deliver some OSB and paint. This weekend I'll have the walls and ceiling done. After that I'll be rearranging and making room for the CNC, another flat file, and more room for moulding samples.
The campaign has officially closed, and I am absolutely blown away by the final numbers—we didn't just hit our goal, we blew past it by $2,571!
I cannot thank you enough for believing in this project and supporting the studio. Raising these extra funds is a massive deal—it gives us a fantastic cushion to cover platform fees, credit card processing, and freight expenses without breaking a sweat.
What Happens Next? Right now, we enter a brief waiting period. BackerKit and the payment processors are handling all the transactions on the back end.
It typically takes about 1 to 2 weeks for all pledge payments to process and clear into the shop account. The very moment those funds hit, I’ll be putting in the formal order and wire transfer for the Valiani CNC mat cutter!
Staying in the Loop While we wait for the payment processing and shipping setup, I won't leave you in the dark:
•Regular Email Updates: I’ll send out updates at every major milestone (when funds clear, when the order is officially placed, freight tracking, etc.).
•Packing Technique Videos: To make sure your art arrives here and gets back to you safely, I’ll be dropping some short video walkthroughs showing proper art packing techniques, materials, and best practices for shipping your prints to the shop once we're ready!
For right now, the ball is in the processor's court while we wait on the payout. I’ll reach out again as soon as the funds clear and we take the next big step. Thank you all again from the bottom of my heart for making this upgrade a reality for the shop!
