Issues with Fulfillment and why it took so long ~
This was my second Snuggle Dreamers campaign, the first one had a lot less backers to fulfill orders for, and even then it was a little difficult. This time around, I had a lot of things going on with life and the plushies came to me a lot later than I was expecting them to due to delays from my manufacturer. My children are also at an age where they are still young to where they need to be watched all the time, so when they go to bed is when I would pack orders. There was also an issue with one of the designs not being made correctly (mentioned that before in an update) and I had to fix them all. One of the other issues I ran into, and one that I'm sure might make some less understanding persons roll their eyes, was depression. It's at an all time peak right now, and I have days where I can't do anything. I just sit and stare at the wall with my children playing in the room and I am a zombie for days at a time. It's been very bad, and it has made it difficult for me to get on here as well and feel the overwhelming disappointment in myself because fulfillment was still not finished and people making comments being upset it was taking so long (not complaining, it's VERY understandable to be upset and I am very sorry) it's just something that was kinda grinding at my mental and that is no fault of anyone but me.
But what is NOT ok is when people start talking trash about me in online forums and making up the most ridiculous things about me. A ton of lies and slander.... When I responded in defense, it was nothing but attacks and degenerate responses disregarding anything I said. It was a huge, horrible blow to me as a human and a creator, the fact that people can be so awful and just dump post trash talk about someone they don't know, just because they didn't like something I may have said, or they had an experience with me that they did not like. I believe people are entitled to their opinions, but when you make up lies and say the most awful things about them and to them, that is low and discussing and people like that should be ashamed of themselves.. This was an experience I hope will never happen again, and I wouldn't wish it on any other creator.
Despite that..... I will say though that I am seeking the help I need, and I am battling this depression. This community is full of amazing people, kind and generous people. I've made some pretty great friends that have stuck by me and believe in me. I am not seeking sympathy comments or things to boost my ego or line of defense against potential haters or anything. Honestly I would turn off comments completely if I could on this update but it is what it is 😂
We are changing plushie Manufacturers for the future Snuggle Dreamers and other future plushie projects ~
The current manufacturer we have used for Snuggle Dreamers and been increasing their prices to absurd amounts and has even changed their costs on my S3 snuggle Dreamers to a higher cost than was quoted after the campaign ended. They are still producing out ita bag packs and the S3 plushies, but future plushies and projects will be done with a new manufacturer.
We are currently testing several manus with our new Dire Wolf plushie design that is part of the S4 Snuggle Dreamers. Some of these manus have worked with other creators that I know, and the costs are so much better. I am hopeful and optimistic for the future of the Snuggle Dreamers plushies. Which brings me to another point……
I am working on a solution for fulfillment on future campaigns ~
I am looking into working with a fulfillment service for future campaigns. I will need to integrate the costs for this into campaign funding, but I’m sure this will be find considering the decrease in production costs with a new manufacturer. This will make the fulfillment go AWAY faster and probably have a lot less issues 😂
Website Shop update ~
My shop is up and running with a new layout, new platform, and the new S2 Snuggle Dreamers! Thea is out of stock but available for preorder, and some others are low in stock. There was some drama over the new site before because my husband had completely reworked my website and built it for me while I was focusing on packing S2 orders, but there AI graphics on it. I have abolished these and created graphics to replace them. Please know that I am not an extremist on the subject, but I do not “support” AI and it’ll never be used in anything with my business. So this will never happen again.

I love making and designing plushies, I love the joy they bring to people and how much they are loved. I wish to bring more joy to this community and share the love as much as I can. I don’t want to ever accept money for a plushie that has any defects on it, so I have a handful of some b grades with some minor defects, and I will be giving them away to people who want them and who are willing to pay for the shipping. This will occur in my discord, I will make an announcement and if multiple people want certain ones, I will do a random draw. I also plan to see if I have extra samples that I had made and give them away too.
I plan to run only one more Sweet Snuggle Dreamers campaign, and after this we will be starting a brand new plushie project! And it’s called Sleepy Snuggle Dreamers. There’s sneak peaks of the designs in our Kitsune Kafe discord if you are interested in seeing them. They will be a little smaller, more floppy and a bit weighted. I’m super excited for this project!

Fulfillment is still ongoing! But almost done!
I said this before, but I am using another shipping service to purchase labels because Backerkit is charging waaaaaay too much for shipping right now. I manually export addresses one at a time, and then manually mark orders one at a time as fulfilled and upload the tracking numbers to each backer's pledge. Some people have said they got notifications when their orders shipped, some said they haven't, so I don't know what's going on with that....
The plan was to have fulfillment completed by the end of the month, but some stuff came up and I got sick AGAIN (T1D sucks the life outta my immune system). The new goal is to have everyone's orders shipped out by the end of next week!
The week of July 13th, I will be out of town for the entire week with my family to the family cabin, which is why I am pushing to get everything shipped out before then. And then July 17th is the day I plan to have these plushies up in my online shop!

I want to thank everyone for your patience on the fulfillment of this campaign. It has been very slow and for that I am very sorry.
First of all, the shipping cost.... I am not purchasing labels through Backerkit this time because it is 30% or more higher than using Pirateship (which is what I use all the time). This is causing the process of purchasing labels and putting order slips with them take longer than usual. Even in doing this, shipping cost across the board has been a nightmare. Most labels are costing more than what I charged and had reserved for. Especially big, international orders.
Another issue that happened was Luca's plushie was not done right. The 2 wing pieces of each wing were not sewn together like they were supposed to be, making the wings very limp and not very attractive... So I needed to get them all sewn together. I did do some of them myself, but I am not a person that sews... it took me hours to get a few done. So I had to get help from family and left boxes of Luca plushies with them to work on them for me.
On top of this, running my P3 campaign and working on it daily, as well as upholding a household, and having no help at all with the packing process this time.... it's been tough. But the school year is over at the end of this week and I might be able to recruit some help (my family members that usually help me are teachers lol).
It's getting done, hopefully the pace picks up and I can have them all done in the next few weeks!
First of all, I am still getting orders prepped and packed. I said before that it was going to be a bit slow because I am pretty much doing this alone and I also have a family and house to take care of. I can’t just wake up, go to the shop and pack orders till it’s time to go to bed. I am sorry to put it like that, but it’s just how it is. I know most of you are very understanding of this and I thank everyone for your patience.
Secondly, I did not set up preorders on my shop because I am still unsure at this point when I will be able to fulfill those preorders. So I’m avoiding a potential other issue with people getting upset because my shop said it’ll ship in a certain timeframe and it ends up being later. I did put LIMITED quantities of them as add-ons for my current campaign (and not all designs made it to the add-ons) but I am holding a reserve for my shop for each design.
REST ASSURD, WHEN THEY GO UP IN MY SHOP, I WILL ANNOUNCE IT.
Something else I see mentioned is my constant updates on my currently live campaign and my apparently no updates to this project. I have to make constant updates to my currently live project, but I do not have anything new to share with this one as I am working on the orders.
I already feel very stressed and pressured to get your orders to you that you paid your hard earned money on. You supported my plushies, and I want to get them to you as fast as I can. It was pretty bad timing because I had PART 3 planned for this time and my bulk order from PART 2 took a lot longer to get to me than I anticipated and at this point I have very little to no help. My sister in laws who have helped me on past projects have been busy and currently on vacation in Europe with their mom, my husband has been swamped with work, and my own mother has been having health issues and not able to babysit my little girls for me so I can focus more on packing orders.
I did make a Reddit post advertising my new campaign, and someone took to the comments to say I’m not answering questions about updates and basically making me feel pretty awful and things like this just add to my already high anxiety to get orders done as fast as possible. But I’m not answering the questions or making another update because nothing has changed.
In a nutshell, I am working on orders. That’s all I have to tell you at this time. I’m sorry I don’t have more. And I’m sorry if any of you have lost faith in me because this has taken longer than expected. If my lack of constant updates on me working on orders and the time it’s taken for me to get them for my manufacturer and the time it’s taking me to fulfill orders is what’s making you not want to support my newest campaign, then that’s fine. I understand.

So the plushies this time came in pallets and they weren’t all delivered at the same time. But I did get the rest of them late last week and they have completely consumed my whole 3 car garage and my work space…..
So the day I got the last of them in, I started breaking down pallets and using a dolly to bring boxes out of the garage and into the front door of my house and down into the basement to storage.
But it was super cold, super windy and rainy…..
And the next day I was super sick. And I’m still super sick.
Being a type 1 diabetic, I get sick really easy, just an fyi if you are someone who has seen me complain a time or 2 about being sick 😂
I was hoping to start getting orders packed and out over the weekend but I obviously wasn’t able to. So I’m hoping to start later this week or next week.
But the plushies are all here and as soon as I am able to, I’ll be starting to pack orders!

If you missed the campaign, I will have preorders up in my shop either today or tomorrow. And shipping on those preorders should get fulfilled around June or end of May at the earliest.
I keep getting emails and messages and comments from people asking about when their orders will arrive to them or asking for an update and whatnot.
At this point in time, I have not gotten the shipment. The shipping method that my rep used from the factory was different than normal, and all I know is that the cargo ship has made it to the US but I do not know when the shipment will be here yet. I have a new rep with my manufacturer now (my last one is resigning due to issues and I am glad since all my requests I made to use ONLY FEDEX were ignored......) and she is checking in and will update me as soon as the carrier picks up the shipment. I am guessing the port is backed up or very busy because of the timing of the year.
I am sorry that this has taken longer than was supposed to. Before the campaign launched, I had an estimated timeframe based on a certain amount of ordered plushies. I ended up making more stretch goals than anticipated and ordering more plushies than originally planned, so production took a lot longer.
One of the things people keep mentioning in their messages to me (some nice about it, some not so nice) is that "this is taking way longer than you said".
And to that: I have a disclaimer on my campaign pages for each project I made, including this one, that the timeline I give is ESTIMATED and CAN CHANGE DUE TO DELAYS OR UNFORSEEN ISSUES OR OTHER THINGS.
I have been very open and transparent about the delays and giving updates as I have them available.
Please always refer to campaign updates for any news and your questions regarding updates on this timeline and shipping & fulfillment.
I will post an update as soon as I get the shipment.

I know I've been vocal but tried to be polite about a lack of information.
At this point I have no clue what is going on with my order. I backed the first launch and this one.
I understand that real life happens, that illness is a thing, that nothing goes smoothly, but its been weeks at this point and I still have no product, and no clue when or even if I am getting my item.
I am asking for an update, something so I know what is going on.
