SEPTEMBER UPDATE
Hi Everyone!
Thank you for all your support on our 1:10 K.I.T.T. die-cast model from Knight Rider™!
Thank you for all your support on our 1:10 K.I.T.T. die-cast model from Knight Rider™!
Since the last update, we have completed the CAD, prototype, and tooling model stages. Currently, we are in the first shot stage of the pre-production process.
What is the first shot stage? This is the first pass on creating the model in diecast. It will usually be painted bare metal (non-final color) and may or may not include electronics. Since this is the first pass in diecast metal it normal for there to be loose joints, light leaks and rough surfaces that will continue to be adjusted and finalized through the next rounds of engineering models.
For this update, we have included some images of the first shot model.
