Happy Friday! Volume 1 has officially hit the Chenault Brothers' desks. Steve and Davis will look it over, making any layout adjustments that it might need. Volumes 2 and 3 are in editing and layout now, but are nearly complete and will join Volume 1 soon.

The original seven books have not been seen on shelves since 2008; the remaining three volumes— Pantheons, the Weyland-Smith Catalogue, and Essential Places— were planned for and approved by Gary but never released to the public. As we close in on the completion of our newest monster expansion, so too are we closing in on the completion of Castle Zagyg Act 1's writing! You'll be as glad as we are to know that all of the Levels through 5a have been turned over to layout. That concludes the writing and editing for Castle Zagyg Act 1. We anticipate that we will have a working manuscript by next week!

All of our Act 1 dungeon levels are officially back from editing, and have entered layout! This is going to be a big one: Levels 2, 3, and 3a are in rough layout and have already eaten up 142 pages. Level 4 is estimated at 55 pages. We hope you all are ready for a HUGE book!

A quick update for Castle Zagyg Act 1. Jeremy has only 17 rooms left to go on level 5a and that wraps the writing portion the dungeons for this kickstarter. He should be done with that tomorrow. Both levels 4 and 4a are in editing. When we get back from gencon we'll begin the final round of fixes (there are a few small rooms needed adjusting on levels 2-3a and then to layout for the first levels.
Send Jeremy your thoughts and prayers! He is currently wrestling with the Inclined Way, the Ebon Well, and the Secret Elevator that connects Levels 3-5 (but you didn't hear that from us. It's probably just a rumor that it even exists anyway 👀).
There are many secret ways to lower levels; ramps, stairs, teleport chambers, shoots and ladders... Jeremy's main challenge here is writing out these secret ways, without their respective exit floors being written yet, but with all the connecting points included. Nevertheless, he's making progress every day.
