Can I suggest that future updates (or updates on other/future campaigns- I have also backed Prospero's Dream) contain current expected project timelines with the key milestones achieved and yet to come? Also, as others have mentioned, where different regions have different fulfillment centres or shipping schedules, some details about these. All of these things are fairly standard from other companies running major campaigns and will really help cut down on frustration from backers, as well as giving you a trigger to let us know when and why there has been slippage.
Great suggestion for a project that is just getting started, or a funded project that isn’t going to make their planned shipping date. I know supply chains are complicated but I’d be lying if I said I could name the various milestones in such a process.
I was so excited to get into Mothership two years ago. I don’t want to run my games off of tablets and laptops. It’s been so long, I don’t really care about any process updates other than it’s out for delivery. What else can they tell us? We packed them in boxes! We taped them shut!
Hayley, thank you for providing monthly updates. It’s been nice to get something from TKG, even if backers are ready to fill the comments with complaints. Really wish this could be done and I could focus on complaining about Mothership month 25.
I appreciate the feedback, folks! Keir, as for your question about different regions: Non-US orders will be sent to their region's hub first. Europe and the UK will likely not be too far behind the US, but everywhere else will be a bit more behind as the product has to make its way to the regions' hubs. Please send us an email at [email protected] if you have any additional questions!
