Project Update: Progress report
It's been a few weeks since campaign end. Much progress has been made; I just wrapped up layout and art has begun to trickle in. I've attached some previews of art to the "backer only" portion of this update so you folks can check it out.
Post layout update: the book I imagined to be forty pages is now ninety, so the specifications I provided in the campaign need adjusting. The book will now be perfect bound at Mixam as I feel that 90 pages is a bit long for saddle stitching. But, at that format and page count, color printing is actually cheaper, so the book will feature a mix of color and black and white art.
Going forward: I expect to send out the surveys to Backerkit for approval within the next few days, and from there we will trickle them out to you folks. I am waiting on two additional full page pieces of art, the map for each adventure. I will be forwarding my layout complete manuscript to a few trusted readers and taking their feedback and making corrections. After that, I'll be sending a PDF proof out to you folks for two weeks, ordering a proof, and then, fingers crossed, making the final orders and shipping. I think we are well on track for the July delivery!
Project Update: Woohoo! We funded
I am working on the survey now and will be sending surveys through the Backerkit pledge manager in approximately 2 weeks.
Gino and I are hard at work finishing up the book and working on production details now - expect to hear more from me soon, but for now, thank you everyone!
Project Update: Stickers! Plus the home stretch
I am still hard at work finalizing the content and layout of the two zines. Gino has shared early drafts of some interior art from as well, and it looks great.
In other news, I have received sticker art!
Everyone with a physical order will receive a logo sticker produced by the amazing MG Posani:
And free to Early Bird backers + available as an add-on to everyone else is this sticker, by cover and interior artist Gino Vasconcelos.
Project Update: Stretch goals and status report
I ran a playtest for the Shadowdark version of the second module last week and I’m working on incorporating what I learned into the final product.
Once that’s done- layout, and then art. Gino Vasconcelos (cover artist) will be doing maps. He always does an incredible job and includes a ton of unasked for but much appreciated detail. Additional art will be dependent on layout, but thanks to your generosity, there will definitely be some..
I have commissioned two stickers and they both look great! I hope to share those before the campaign ends. Early physical product backers will get a “this rose will never die” sticker - it will be available as an add on for everyone else. Everyone with a physical order will also get “A Perilous House” sticker as well.
At the time of this writing, we’re at $943, only $60 away from everyone getting a copy of “Safeworm.” It seems very likely we’ll hit that! I have ideas for additional goals but feel free to leave suggestions if you have them!
A final note: I don’t use the social media sites except for a handful of subreddits, so I’m entirely at your mercy to spread the word about the project with anyone who you think might be interested. If you do have someone in your life who qualifies, consider sharing the good word! I’ll appreciate it forever.

There doesn’t seem to be a way of getting both PDFs without getting the printed zine. Could you please do a digital only bundle or put the new PDFs in the add-ons section?
