In The Pirate's Ghost, players play as students in the college's mystery-solving club, where they must unravel a spooky case with a ghost pirate, a witch, hi-fi equipment, and a faculty advisor who just might be a vampire!
The Pirate's Ghost is an investigative horror adventure set in rural New York state, in the year 1975.
Player characters assume the role of college-aged investigators looking into a mysterious crime involving a ghostly pirate, a figure from the town’s history, Bloody Byron Black. Some stones are best left unturned, and the players may end up plunged into horrors plucked from the long forgotten history of Willowdale.
Inspired by The Stone Tapes, Quatermass & the Pit, Scooby Doo, Herbert West, Reanimator and visiting Vermont and Western Massachusetts.
Cthulhu Eternalis a d100 based investigative/cosmic horror game written using the Open Game License (OGL). Cthulhu Eternal shares roots with Delta Green and is designed to be broadly compatible with the most popular versions of the d100-based Mythos horror games.
The book will include an appendix on how to best convert this scenario to other game systems.

Stretch goals may lead to additional page length as I will commission additional art.
I'm Matt! I've been producing fun little self-published RPGs for a couple of years. You can see more examples of my work at TwilitGrotto.com. If any of my books sound interesting to you, I will be offering them as add-on purchases with this campaign.
Gino Vasconcelos did the cover for this adventure. Depending on funds raised, I may commission an additional half page or full page art piece. He's done most of the art for my other adventures, and is a great collaborator.
The book is text complete. If the campaign is successful, I will provide a PDF immediately after Backerkit releases funds
The book will be printed at Mixam. I expect proof and corrections, plus final printing, to last no more than two months, so I will be shipping in December.
If the campaign is extravagantly successful, I will commission additional art. This will likely extend the fulfillment period 2-6 weeks, but it will be worth it.
I will be providing PDFs through Backerkit & DriveThruRPG.
The book is complete. I'm printing this through Mixam, a very reliable, quick, and high-quality service I've used several times to good result. I've been shipping to paying customers online for twenty years! This is my third crowdfunding and I learned quite a bit so far.
Therefore, I don't expect too many challenges with printing and fulfillment.
We are also, frankly, not talking about a huge amount of money here. I am not so rich that I can shovel hundreds of dollars into producing these every month but if there is some terrible production cost overage, I am confident that I am both cushioned and liquid enough to absorb it.
The biggest risks come in getting it exactly right. There is always the possibility of the art or editing process taking longer than expected or other last minutes challenges, and I can imagine a world where it might take an extra month or two to deliver if that is the case.
I'll ship to the US; DriveThruRPG will ship internationally
Shipping prices have increased over the last year so I can't provide precise estimates but I would expect it to cost between $5 and $7 for a box of books. Adding on a few additional zines is unlikely to increase this very much.
Generally, boxes will be shipped out via USPS Media Mail. This is another good reason to only offer books as add ons!
International backers will have the option to back at the $8 international level. When the campaign ends, I will arrange for DriveThruRPG to send you an at-cost print on demand coupon. You will pay shipping and cost of production and they will print and mail you a book from one of their international facilities.
