Manufacturing of the other designs has also been going on while we were ironing out anky and utah! Here are some pics from that
I believe DeinoC, Pachy, and Nanuq are also done being made! I have paid for the manufacturing of everyone so they're all cranking along. Utah will probably be the last to be made. I am so happy y'all we've come so far!
Order locking. Now that all the designs are finalized, I'm going to start locking orders and charging for extras! Currently, orders will be locked on Monday, May 18th. This means you won't be able to make any more changes to the items you've picked. Then, if you purchased add-ons in your survey and you have an outstanding balance, that will be charged on Wednesday, May 20th. You will get emails 48hrs in advance of both of these events.
Now my question to y'all; do you still want shipping charged later (so, a third charge), or do you want it applied now and charged alongside add-ons? Let me know! I can do it either way :)
THE NEXT CAMPAIGN!! Work is in full swing on the next campaign with extinct mammals and others! You can go peek at the project here. I've been hard at work writing up profiles and charity descriptions, drawing refs and other graphics, and getting samples rolling! I'm going to pay for all 12 samples before launch so the manufacturing process should be faster. If any designs don't get unlocked, I may end up auctioning off the samples ;). Here's a look at the first unlockable design and the sample for it!!
And finally, keychains are being manufactured and are expected to arrive soon! I'm also going to have two new keychains designed for the next campaign, so follow that project to see them when they're made!
The day you have all been waiting for is here! I've actually had anky pics for a while and they were posted in the discord, but I've been waiting to get Utah too so I could show them both off!!
Here's the second version of Anky and my changes! The next one should be golden. I also requested that all of his spikes (face and body) be stuffed!
And here's the only pic of Utah I have- my manufacturer has been directly communicating changes for me so I haven't needed to draw them!
He'll get his spots later on once the shape is where it should be :)
I know we were also waiting on a couple other plush to be finalized so here they are;
And as a reminder, I regularly update the project story with new prototype photos as soon as I get them, and I also post them in the discord for feedback! That's all I have for the plushies for now but I'm really hoping we'll have them all finalized within the next 3 ish weeks. Also, a bunch of the samples were mailed to me and they'll be delivered tomorrow!!! I'll be taking lots of pictures of them for the discord, and professional pictures for the website! They'll all be posted to the project story when I have time.
And lastly, a small update about keychains! They're live for for preorder on my website varmintfeathers.com at $8 each!! We're just waiting for the art for Diplodocus to be completed, and then after a round of samples they'll start shipping out! Right now they're expected to ship in the beginning of May! There will also be a new double-sided keychain for the extinct mammals campaign- the triassic cuddle :3
This means we're approximately a month to a month and a half away from them being shipped to me, and about two months from shipping starting!!!! Surveys are going well I think we're close to 70% of them being done! If you opted for pay in four, you won't get your survey until your balance is fully paid. Also, if you bought any addons or from the preorder store, you will be charged for those extras a little bit after I lock surveys! There will be a 48 hour notice before locking (no more edits, but I can unlock if u need me to), and charging! Hey y'all, surveys have finally gone out!! They will get locked once every plush is finalized and the bulk order has been placed. You'll get a 48 hour notice before locking happens so you can make any last minute changes, and then after that any remaining balance on your pledge will be charged (e.g. if you bought more plushies during your survey). I believe you'll get another 48 hour notice prior to this charge.
SHIPPING -> As stated in the campaign, shipping will be charged closer to when the plushies are arriving, and I will make sure everyone knows when it gets added to your order and when it gets charged!
