We've made it to October! It's here, our last post before our campaign goes live on Tuesday, October 6th, 9am PT (Noon ET). The will of backers will be the driving force behind the success of this campaign, and behind the success of our Expeditions.

Are you ready to make your first choices?

Rumors of great trinkets and treasures lie ahead, but the path is treacherous. Four heroes stand ready to brave the dark depths but only two can make the journey. It is up to you to decide who will face the darkness and the perils it conceals. 

When the campaign reaches our funding goal the first dungeon map will unlock. The two most-selected heroes will navigate their way through, earning rewards and bonuses for each chamber they clear. However, each reward you choose comes at a cost--your challenge will be to loot the spoils while getting your Heroes through the dangers of each dungeon in the campaign.

Vault's largest event of the year is also coming up next week at New York Comic Con. We'll be making a showing, and so will Darkest Dungeon! If you are attending, be sure to swing by our booth to find our NYCC exclusive Darkest Dungeon #0 Ashcan edition, featuring art of the concepts we've shown in our updates as well as some additional concept art, script samples, and a note from Chris Bourassa.

And for completionists who will not be attending, steady your hand and keep the torch lit! Many treasures await us in this campaign, even limited items like these. Make your way through the dungeon carefully, and perhaps these special convention issues will be made available to everyone backing the campaign. 

And, one last reminder before we go: reservation gifts will cease to be available once we are launched, but you can still take advantage until then! Thousands of you have already reserved your spot and more are welcome.

At just $1, this is hopefully a simple decision for those already planning to place a physical pledge at any time during our campaign.
