It's our early October update to celebrate a HUGE week for Vault! 

Vault has gone full DCC this year with a big custom booth and of course Matt Dinniman and friends at the signing table. There are also more events featuring Aethon: Vault & friends on the docket! 

Back to the booth though... if you're going to NYCC, we hope you can stop by and enjoy this bigass installation and some of our exclusives, if there are any left!! It is difficult to get news from the live floor, but sounds like many are sold out already. But worry not, Croc friends... 

In case you missed the news, all physical reward backers are getting a physical copy of the NYCC 2026 Croc #0.5 exclusive comic even if you aren't making the trip to New York. This will be added automatically to your reward stacks, no need to do anything on your end. And yes, since we now know how many backers to account for, these issues are all the first printing.

It would hardly be a convention opening day if we weren't sharing something with you now, so please catch a link to the #0.5 issue under the cut for Croc backers only! We've thrown in a bonus #0 NYCC Exclusive for Darkest Dungeon as well, because...

We've launched our final big Dungeon-y campaign for the year; The Darkest Dungeon graphic novel. We launched on Tuesday and funded in ~5 mins, and are currently at 2500 backers and rising! Also BackerKit was very very nice to us and allowed us to have a cool DARK MODE customization. If you enjoyed the Crocodile campaign challenges, this one has a pretty fun minigame built into it that has already started unlocking bonuses and upgrades.

To thank previous campaign backers like yourselves, we've created a SECRET THANK-YOU TIER that only returning backers get to access. It contains the basic hardcover, digital copies of both highly-acclaimed gothic horror roguelike role playing games, and two complete digital Vault horror graphic novels by the creatives on the DD team. Everything you'll need to get to know this series and more about Vault's creators!

That's mostly it from us for this update. We'll have more notes about progress in a future post, but briefly: Brett's pace has been steady so he is likely to complete his inks (including the bonus comics) in November and will be working on pending physical commissions after that. The rest of the year will be devoted to completing series colors, final lettering, final polish edits, printing... and then we're on track for the adjusted delivery date of early next year for Croc backers. Exciting!
