Project Update: Received Remake Pins Finally + Tariff
Hello Everyone!
I finally received all the remake pins from my manufacturer today! Credit cards had been charged and addresses had been locked. I will be shipping out all the rewards soon~
For my US backers, I am aware that your de minimis exemption for products from China is going to end on May 2nd (Friday). Will that affect packages from Canada with products made in China? As of now, I nor my shipper can't say for sure, but most likely it will. So I am going to do everything I can to get your rewards sent out by the end of this week. And by doing so, US packages should be able to cross the US border by April 30th based on my shipper's calculation. Long story short, if you have a credit card error (which I still have four right now) or you haven't filled out your survey yet (which I also have four), please update your credit card/ complete your survey by tomorrow April 23rd at the latest, and I will lock your address immediately when that get fixed. I will not be able to send your package out by the end of this week if that does not get fixed by tomorrow. Thank you so much for your understanding. Going to work now!!
Thanks again for your interest and support the the Kitties of Whisperwood project. I have just sent out all the rewards that do not have the Apothecary and The Meowgic pin in them. So if you didn't back these two pins, you should have either received your rewards by now, or they should be on their way to you. For US and international backers, you should've received a tracking number by now. If you did not back these two pins but did not receive your rewards or tracking number, there is a chance that there is a charge card error with your credit card. Please feel free to contact me ([email protected]) to confirm if that is the case.
I did manage to ship out some rewards with the Apothecary and Meowgic pins in them, but not a lot. The good news is that the remake of these two pins should be done soon! I just received images (see below) from my manufacturer and they seem pretty good from the photos. They should be going through quality control/ assurance now, and hopefully they will be ready to ship out soon.
I just want to clarify, I did have to use a new manufacturer to remake these two pins, which also explained why it is taking so long. The previous manufacturer refused to remake these pins for me, and also refused to give me a refund that covered the cost of the faulty pins. Luckily, I was able to dispute the case through PayPal, and it went well. I managed to get a refund that coverers most of the cost for remaking these two pins.

Project Update: Pins Are In Production And New Freebie Sticker!

Can't believe that it's almost Christmas! Happy holidays everyone! I wonder if the kitties of Whisperwood celebrate this holiday? Who knows...
It's been a bit over a month since our last update, and it's time for another one. First thing first, most of the backer's surveys have been completed already, orders have been locked, and production have started. However, there are still a few surveys that haven't been completed yet. If you haven't completed your survey yet, please take the time to complete them as soon as you can. Your response will be highly appreciated!
For now, everything (backing cards, stickers, sticker sheet) is done, except for the pins. Pins always take the longest to complete, and this time I did choose to use a manufacturer that has a longer production time (and hopefully better quality control). Most likely the pins will be completed before the Chinese New Year (end of January), as most pin manufacturers prefer to do that based on my past experience. Below are some pictures of the backing cards, stickers, and sticker sheet that I received from my manufacturers. I really like the quality of the stickers, especially the sticker sheet!
Hey! Did you notice something you haven't seen before?! Yes! I created a new freebie thank you sticker for all of you who pledged for a physical tier from my project! I meant to add more mini pin designs, and a freebie of some sort during the campaign, as this project did so so so so well (it is actually the best project I have done so far)! However, at the time of the campaign, I was pre-occupied with some family emergency that I was not able to create more designs as I wanted to. But I made a promise to myself that I will make the freebie no matter what. I hope that you like the freebie sticker we got!
Finally, I got a new project that will be launched in Jan 23rd as a part of Pintopia 2025! The project is called Build Your RPG Cat (click here for the link).
