Mini update here! Its time for the final showdown! Theres 6 animals on the poll because maned wolf and otters tied for 5th! You can vote for them below!
My next update will be after I finish the new buddies!
First thank you all SO MUCH for such a hugely successful campaign! Year over year y'all blow me away. But that aside! It's time to vote for your favorite Forgotten Critter! Only 5 will move on to the final vote.
I may make an exception and add 6 if theres similar animals that are stealing each other's votes but would clearly be in the top 5 otherwise. The poll will close in 2 days and then I'll make the finalist poll for everyone! Any animal that doesn't win is liable to be added in the survey so long as I have time >:)
Please let me know if all the photos breaks anyones computer lol! It was a struggle getting Backerkit to accept them all without crashing.
Also, thank you all for the suggestions for next year! I already have some good ideas! If y'all have more please feel free to drop them below!
Thank you so much for such a successful launch! And thank you to those of you who are returning and those of you who are new to Forgotten Forest!
Every year I do a backer voted pin. This pin is decided via a Backerkit poll. This year the poll will be split between 2 polls. The first poll will determine the top 5 and the second poll will determine the winner! (This is because Backerkit doesn’t allow multiple answer polls)
Until then! Please leave your comments for which animals you would like to see in the finale! I will try to pick at least one animal from every person <3
Also for those of you who joined me for the prelaunch polls, all animals from that poll that got over 2% will be moving over to the final poll!
Thank you all again! This is hands down my favorite set and it means so much to me that I can make it every year for y’all! Next year I’m hoping to do extinct animals like dinosaurs and dodos.

Demon Dog, Red Wolf, Gentoo Penguin, Crow and more!
Hey everyone!
We have 6 more days until launch! (Exciting!)
I wanted to thank everyone for voting in the initial polls and update everyone with the final pins. I also wanted to remind everyone who picked any of the chosen pins to change your vote in the poll. I will be recycling any answers from the poll that have a final tally over 2%. Animals under that will be scrapped for the backer voted pin! So make sure you reshuffle your votes!
I also decided to make a JJK Demon Dog color alt for the red wolf! I hope yall like the good boy! (Please note the $ are for the stretch goals you can ignore them for now!)
This years charity will be supporting the Jane Goodall foundation!
I look forward to seeing everyone’s excitement and hearing y’all’s opinions!
Tilcayo has been added to the lineup! I also added the domestic horse as a personal gift for my therapist <3 I also have a new poll with new suggestions from y’all!
If the answer is generic it’s because I’m not as comfortable drawing those animals and y’all will have to deal with whatever species I think is easiest for me to draw lol!
If your suggestion isn’t on the list don’t despair! I tried to keep the poll brief so votes are too diluted (and it’s still massive) if you have 1 or 2 animals you really want leave them below! I try to make sure everyone gets 1-2 of their animals on the poll. (Also sorry about no photos, anytime there’s a big poll it loves to crash and reset and delete all the photos and I end up giving up)
Also - to ensure it still fits land and sea vibes I will for sure be doing at least 2 other sea creatures regardless of the poll!
Looking forward to this years forgotten forest!! These are already some of my favorite designs 💕 See y’all in a few weeks!

Help decide which animals make it into Forgotten Forest!
Hey everyone!
It’s that time of the year! Spooky season will be upon us soon. As such! It’s time to get a feel for what everyone wants to see in this years Forgotten Forest.
I included a poll for broad animals but if you want to see specific species please drop them below! I will do my best to take from people’s suggestions as I make the forgotten forest creatures <3
This years theme is land and sea! So anything counts really <3 (next year’s theme may be prehistoric animals)
There will be another charity pin this year as well!
