Lost an order? We like to think we leaped right on the issue.
Now, those of you who haven't received your books yet will have replacement orders sent out on Tuesday of this week!
In other exciting news about The Witch's Wyrd, Archie and I are working on the sequel, Ruins of Resurrection, set in the nearby Elven ruins of Nar-Vedryn.
Ruins of Resurrectionis slated to be a 2nd Level D&D 5e/Level 1 DCC adventure that explores the philosophical dilemmas around the nature of the self. We look forward to many thought-provoking sessions next year!
So, if you missed out on When the Stars Cried Despair, or want one of the Witch Pleas Publishing adventures at a discount - like our classic, narrative-focused campaign, A Tale of Two Sisters - head over to the Pre-Order Store.
And don't forget to follow Descent of the Ancient Fane! Its Follower Count goes a long way to making this ambitious project, the most hellish megadungeon ever, a success. Plus, you'll enjoy exclusive Follower and early Backer rewards, like Delicious in Whiterock, the exclusive cookbook survival guide companion to a Castle Whiterock campaign!
Most importantly, may your holiday season be merry and bright, friends! We appreciate each and every one of you!
We'll keep it short and - hopefully - sweet, Old John Stuart Mill Backers!
If you've not received your books, you should have by now. Please reach out directly at [email protected], as we're compiling a list of those who have fallen afoul of a delivery mishap.
The same applies for Roll20. We sent out codes via BackerKit's Digital Delivery early last week, and so you should have received your redemption code. A handful of people have reported that they didn't, so we'd like to help you personally. Reach out at [email protected]
This is all to say, if you lack reward, we will help! Contact us at our main customer service address, [email protected] and we'll set things right.
As we're going to be unavailable due to family matters from Friday to Monday, we'll start mailing out missing books next week, prior to and immediately subsequent to the Thanksgiving holiday here in the States.
Thank you very much for your patience and for any extraordinary outreach!
Roll20 modules have rolled in your inboxes, Old John Stuart's Mill backers!
If you backed or bought both systems for Roll20, they'll arrive in two separate emails. Each email has a link to the Code Activation page on Roll20, where you can enter the code and redeem it for the Old John Stuart's Mill module.
Careful with those codes! They're one-use only, and I've been informed have a limitation. As this is also our first foray in using this system, reach out to [email protected] with any issues you may have.
Also, in the process of distributing these codes, we likely also sent you digital copies of the module PDFs too - again. Apologies for further cluttering what's likely an already crowded inbox!
When the Stars Cried Despair is completely laid out as of this weekend, so will print in December, allowing gaming groups to enjoy this prequel to our Castle Whiterock tie-in before that campaign's launch in April.
Roll20 Modules are done, and the back-end discussion with their Support to get your complimentary copies has reached its final phase!
According to Todd, BackerKit Support Extraordinaire, the complimentary copies of Old John Stuart's Mill - both D&D 5e and DCC edition - will be sent as coupon codes. I'll work with them tomorrow to arrange this, so keep an eye on your inbox in the evening!
Also keep an eye out for When the Stars Cried Despair, our next module, launching on BackerKit tomorrow! Better yet, follow it now, for an exclusive early Follower reward - a fully developed one-night one-shot with all-original art, The Bride of Baal!
