Project Update: 🐴Download Your Free Chariot Race & Charioteer Rules! + Standings + Updates 🐴
Get ready to roll, Chariot Racing fans!
In our to celebrate the thrilling reaction of you, the fans, to the Livestream Chariot Race, Gina developed some basic rules to emulate the Chariot Race and to bring charioteering to your DCC and D&D games.
This humble 2-page PDF can be downloaded here and includes:
- Rules on how we ran the Livestream chariot racing game and how you can too
- Expansion of those rules to include basic attacks, complex enough to keep things interesting but simple enough that a sizable table of players during a live online event won't be too complicated
- A "Charioteer" Occupation for DCC and statistics for a chariot
- A "Charioteer" Feat for D&D 5e
This is just the beginning!
Gina is working on a full-fledged sourcebook for Roman culture for DCC, D&D 5e and OSE, to include sports, social strata and intrigue, religion and magic, and all manner of things Ancient Roman!
Also, our 1st Stretch Goal Approaches! You know what that means: A Pantheon God Patron Book.
Yes, it's going to be a whole new book. We'll make sure the cost is low and it's available as an Add On.
Why a new Add On? Because The Mouth of Mentius is already 60 pages, and thoroughly covering the gods of the Pantheon as Patrons for DCC and D&D 5e Warlocks will require at least 24 more pages. Besides, it should be able to be used independent of the adventures in The Mouth of Mentius.
The Pantheon God Patron sourcebook will include the following for each of the 12 gods of the Olympian Pantheon:

Speaking of immortals, we must not forget the eternal glory earned by our competitors in the Livestream Chariot Race.
