This time, we’re proud to announce that Jon Matteson will be returning to the Hatchetfield series in the role of Richie Lipschitz! The geekiest of geeks, the bottom rung of Hatchetfield High’s social ladder.

When a supernatural killer starts hunting the nerdy prudes at Hatchetfield High, Richie and a cast of social rejects must band together to save themselves, the school, and the world! Jon joins previously announced Bryce Charles (as Detective Shapiro), Joey Richter (as Peter Spankoffski), Lauren Lopez (as Ruth Fleming), Mariah Rose Faith (as Stephanie Lauter), Angela Giarratana (as Grace Chasity), and Corey Dorris (as Mayor Solomon Lauter).

As we're still in the process of casting 'Nerdy Prudes,' this will be the last cast member reveal before our Hatchetfield livestream this weekend, but we've still got lots of tricks n' treats in store for you! Remember, the initial BackerKit goal is just the base budget we’ll need to produce everything we’ve got planned for StarKid Returns. The more money we raise, the better all the projects can be!

So please join us in trying to push that total as high as we can during 'NERDY PRUDES MUST LIVESTREAM! A Hatchetfield Halloween Party.' Tomorrow (Sunday, Oct 9 @ 12pm PT), we'll be hosting an 8 HOUR Hatchetfield-themed livestream, where we'll look back at the series thus far, and take a peek at some upcoming installments ('Nerdy Prudes,' 'Workin' Boys,' and more). We'll be answering questions, addressing theories, showcasing fan art, reading a NEW Nightmare Time story (called 'Hey, Melissa!'), rewatching 'Abstinence Camp,' and deciding once a for all who is the deadliest person in Hatchetfield (in the 'Hatchetfield Death Match')! And along the way, you'll be able to unlock song demos for those upcoming HF projects ('Nerdy Prudes,' 'Workin' Boys,' etc) by hitting new BackerKit fundraising benchmarks. These are brand new songs and you'll be the first to hear them!
