I’m addicted to board games. Unfortunately, as of late, I’m having to update my bio, because well… My life long game collection has all burnt to ash by the Eaton wildfire.
I realize that board games are not what matter during this time, but they kind of do to me on a personal level. Board games are everything to me when it comes to what my daily life was like, before all this happened.
I’ve had people offer me all kinds of games (and that’s so nice), but ultimately, I just want my games back. I had such an incredible collection and it’s been so difficult trying to just get all that back.
Every time I do get something close, it feels a little bit like I’m undoing what has happened to us. Maybe it doesn’t make sense to some, but, that’s just how I feel. I just want my life back.
