I am an avid gamer, both tabletop and video games. A big part of my recent gaming has included playing online, though I have also played in person with a small group for the last two years. I started as a TTRPG player with 2e AD&D -- a friend's mother purchased the books at a thrift store for us when I would camping with them -- then graduated to 3e/3.5 before taking a hiatus when I went off to university in the late 2000s. I started playing again with 5e through Discord, having a steady group there, and I play OSR-style and other systems in-person.
