Michelle - Coqui & Mi

Hi, I’m Michelle, Founder of Coqui & Mi™

Coqui & Mi started with a simple idea: make everyday life a little more comfortable, creative and fun.

I originally began designing products for my own family. My son lives with a chronic illness, and I found myself constantly looking for things that were functional and genuinely useful, but still felt joyful and full of personality. When I couldn't find exactly what we needed, I started making it myself.

That eventually became Coqui & Mi™.

From comfort to creativity.

Our first major product, THE LEVEL UP WRAP™, started with another everyday problem: blankets and desk chairs simply don't work very well together.

So I designed a chair-mounted comfort wrap that stays where you put it and surrounds you with warmth while you work, game, read, create or simply settle in for a long day.

In 2026, our community helped bring THE LEVEL UP WRAP™ to life through a successful Kickstarter campaign, with more than 900 backers and over CA$100,000 pledged.

That campaign also helped something bigger begin to take shape.

Welcome to the Coqui & Mi universe ✨

Coqui & Mi isn't meant to be a one-product Mom & Son company.

We're building a colorful little world inspired by the things we love — gaming, books, art, animals, adventure, imagination and the wonderfully different interests that make each of us who we are.

That now includes our growing collection of enamel pins and original characters, each with its own personality, passions and story.

You'll meet gamers, explorers, artists, storytellers, curious creatures and a few characters who don't fit neatly into any category at all.

We like them that way.

Made with intention.

Whether we're designing something cozy for your chair or something tiny to pin to your favorite bag, our approach is the same:

We're still a small, family-run business, and I remain closely involved in everything from product design and manufacturing to packaging, photography and talking with our community.

There's a lot more coming.

Thanks for being here at the beginning. 💛
