If you could drink of a certain water and never have to thirst again, would you think twice about pursuing that water?
“Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water [normal water] will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
-John 4:13-14
For, if we would quickly pursue a cure to quench our physical thirst; how much more eagerly should we pursue knowing Jesus Christ in that we would have our soul’s hunger to know God eternally satisfied?
“For this is the will of my Father [God in heaven], that everyone who looks on the Son [The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God] and believes in Him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.”
-John 6:44
