Mr. P

Born with one hand on a joystick and the other ready to roll dice, this gamer’s journey began in the golden age of Atari 2600 cartridges and Nintendo NES classics. Afternoons were spent mastering pixelated worlds, while evenings turned into spirited battles of Clue and Risk around the kitchen table.

As the years rolled on, so did the evolution of my gaming universe. The blocky charm of early consoles gave way to the immersive worlds of Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam, each platform offering new adventures, new communities, and new ways to get gloriously lost for hours.

But digital quests were never enough on their own. The tactile joy of tabletop strategy remained a constant companion. From the diplomatic dance of Catan to the sprawling engine-building of Terraforming Mars and the intricate warfare of Scythe, they embraced every chance to gather friends, shuffle decks, and outwit opponents face-to-face.

Today, I'm a hybrid gamer in the best sense, at home commanding fleets in a sci‑fi epic as are negotiating sheep for brick or terraforming the Red Planet. Whether it’s pixels or cardboard, controllers or meeples, I chase the same thrill: great stories, clever strategy, and the shared joy of play.
