Gary Sassaman is the former Director of Programming and Publications for Comic-Con International: San Diego, WonderCon, and APE, the Alternative Press Expo. Recipient of Comic-Con's 2017 Inkpot Award for Fandom Services. Editor and designer of Comic-Con's publications from 2007 through 2020. Creator of 1990s indy comic book series Innocent Bystander and the popular YouTube comic book channel, Tales From My Spinner Rack. Now retired and living a peaceful, quiet life surrounded by comics and books in his secret island lair.
