I started wargaming in the early 70s. My first fantasy figures were the Minifigs Mythical Earth range.
Then I discovered Roleplaying in 1979.
Then I discovered Live-Action Role Playing (LARP / LRP) at Peckforton Castle in July 1982.
I was one of the directors of Spirit of Adventure (LRP) and Nemesis LRP, then I moved on to running the Plot and In-Character side of The Gathering.
I stepped down from that in 2000 and played for the next few years till work got too much in the way, and I begin to dislike camping!
I have also l played many board-games and have a large collection.
I collect and paint miniatures and I love board-games with figures. My pile of shame is huge!
I was made redundant in 2017 and decided to retire after 35 years in the IT business, I am desperately trying to bring some order to my shelves of Wargames, Boardgames and RPGs.
I still have a suit of chain-mail from my LARP days.
