Vampires vs Pengins

We love games. We make games at our job. We make games on vacation. We make games in our dreams.

And that's exactly what happened when we sent our best team of professional penguin game makers on a camping trip in a deep dark wood. They returned a week later with lots of mosquito bites, and with a new game: Vampires Vs Penguins!

That's right - from the creators of your favourite childhood penguin game comes a new game you can play with your friends! Only this one involves 1000% more biting and betrayal.

We hope, like us, you'll enjoy a wistful waddle down memory lane, as you gather an angry mob of penguin villagers and hunt down the creatures of the night. Or join them! We're not the boss of you.

  • Fun for the whole family
  • 3-12 Players
  • Easy to learn
  • Fast to play (20-30 mins per game)

How To Play

Edit

What's in the Box?

Vampires Vs Penguins contains a deck of cards with specialized, hand drawn artwork, mostly of penguins. It also contains the instructions of how to play Vampires Vs Penguins, because we thought they would be helpful.

Each pack of Vampires vs Penguins contains:

  • 1 Vampire Lord
  • 3 Vampire Hunters (Aces)
  • 12 Vampire Minion / Bite cards
  • 36 Villager cards
  • Rules insert

Combine two or more decks to play with more friends.  Remember, more decks mean more VAMPIRE LORDS! Collect multiple decks, or beg, borrow and steal from your friends. You can even mix-and-match cards from different themes to create your own custom deck.

Meet the Team

Cody Vigue is the creator of Vampires Vs Penguins, and a former editor of the Club Penguin Times! He really did go camping in the woods with a deck of cards and a dream of annoying his family until he made a new game. He succeeded much faster than he expected, and soon had all his camp neighbors and probably wildlife playing the game.

Lance Priebe is the creative catalyst of the crew. The infamous creator of Club Penguin, it was his suggestion to make the vampires and villagers all penguins. It was he who lit the beacons and brought together the team to make this game. Dude really loves penguins.

Chris Quigley and Gord Quigley are the artists. Wanting to ensure the highest quality penguin art possible, they were summoned to hand draw everything. As part of the original Club Penguin art team, their ancient ways were unmatched for this task.

Chris Hendricks, the legend himself. When it came time to prepare all the videos, music and voice overs to share this story with the world, he answered the call. It was actually an email he answered. But still very bravely.

Shipping Info

Shipping information in this section is only estimates!
We will be charging shipping after the campaign has closed in the pledge management part of Backerkit. This will allow us to ensure more accurate pricing, and possibly negotiate a better rate for certain countries.

As the last few years have shown us how unpredictable shipping prices can be, we will be finalizing the shipping prices only after we have confirmed printing completion estimates from our manufacturer (Longpack Games).

Risks and Challenges

  • SHIPPING: Shipping is charged after the campaign in our pledge manager. Shipping will need to be paid in full prior to the close of the Backerkit pledge management. VAT will be charged in the pledge manager.

  • MANUFACTURING: Unexpected delays often happen due to; Production delays, Shipping delays, or Customs delays.

  • COMMUNICATION: Inevitably, something will occur during the entire process that we were unable to foresee. If things run behind schedule, we think the best approach is to always be up front and communicative with backers. It's our goal to make post-campaign updates part of this experience and we plan to update monthly until production has begun in order to keep backers informed of the progress.

  • REFUND POLICY: We can refund you within 14 days of the campaign’s end, fees included. After that, we have a policy of refunding no questions asked minus Crowdfunding and payment processing fees (which we can’t get back after 14 days). After the pledge manager closes, we do not process refunds. All refunds after the 14 days close of the campaign may be processed via PayPal or reversed via Stripe to your credit card at our discretion. Refunds within 14 days are reversed via Stripe to your credit card. This project is being funded in CAD and any refunds processed will be in CAD for the exact amount received in CAD, excluding any applicable fees depending on the time of the refund being processed.

  • UNCONFIRMED PLEDGES: If a pledge has not been finalized and confirmed by the closing of the Pledge Manger, we reserve the right to consider it unfulfillable.
