Tabletop Time presents the Sisters of the Old Blood- Dark Victorian female STL miniatures for printing and playing with the wargame of your choice. The Sisters are also the second faction in a unique miniature universe being developed by TTT.
From the mind of Jennifer and David McLennan (Tabletop Time), with art by Alysha Lowery (Tabletop Time) sculpted by Patrick Kieth(Bombshell Minis) the Sisters of the Old Blood are the second faction in Tabletop Time’s emerging game universe following on from the success of the Kindred of the Abyss. Designed for use in 28mm gaming, with a range of usability options considered, the Sisters of the Old Blood will be the perfect addition to your warband with a mix of ancient tech and dark Victorian weaponry.
With the successful launch of our first faction, Kindred of the Abyss, we held public votes on which of our line-up would next become a range of miniatures. The Sisters came out in front, by a significant margin, showing us you wanted to see Jenns passion army expanded first. We have a goal, to produce a series of amazing unique miniatures that all fit into our imagined game universe, keep them compatible with game systems such as One Page Rules, and once we have four factions people can paint and collect, launch our new wargame with a physical two player starter box. This campaign is the second step along that road.
We hope you are excited to join the journey and take part in the campaign, helping us bring not only these miniatures to life but place another foundation stone in Tabletop Times game universe.
The initial campaign includes four units for the Sisters of the Old Blood, two light infantry and two power armour clad heavy infantry: For the lighter troupe, Ordinatae Venatrices, skilful huntresses armed with archaic rifles and gorgeous fascinators and Correctrix Militans, Sabre wielding close combat troops, saving their pistol shot until they get right amongst their foes.
Sallying forth when dire threats arise, the Coercitrices Sancti Sanguines are stirred to action. Clad in ancient suits of power armour from a time before record and long since repaired and reinforced with the finest blacksmithing of the sisters, these warriors strike from afar and close, with deadly explosive rounds from their repeater crossbows and devastating hand mortar blasts.
When the greatest secrets of the order are at risk, the Praetoriae Sedis Antiquae descent from the great spires. Each Praetoria is armed with relic energy shields, frames decorated with stained glass hand made by each Sister. Alongside these weapons they wield terrifying flame halberds, and all cower in fear from the maddening visage of their twisted armour.
All of these models have been designed by Jennifer McLennan, David McLennan and Alysha Lowery, and sculpted by Patrick Keith from Bombshell Miniatures. Patrick has a passion for bringing amazing renditions of female warriors to the world of miniature wargaming, and we were thrilled he reached out to work with us on this project.
The initial offering of four distinct squads of infantry is only the beginning, and we have loads of exciting stretch goals to hopefully reach. From trumpet blowing cavalry goading gargoyles and beasts into combat to a massive war train, steaming across the battlefield, to dark bloodborne inspired beast hunters that set out to catch the sisters own monstrous charges when they escape and run out of control! Some initial concept sketches can be seen further down in the stretch goal section of some of these – with more to be revealed if we hit our goals!
Help us reach even higher goals and unlock amazing models for everyone. Every goal unlocked is added to every core pledge, meaning the value of your pledge gets higher and higher the more people back! We will deliver files as they are completed, and as we work with sculpting partners who often have their own businesses and busy schedules, we anticipate each goal will take around 1-2 months to complete.
One of the amazing things about crowdfunding campaigns is the community support, interest and hype around a project. Often with STL campaigns, people who may wish to support the project further have no where to go and no way to. We wanted to offer a way to continue to support the project by picking up some of our previous designs and bundles at a great price. These prices will only be available as part of crowdfunding campaigns to help fund our newest projects!
No better way to get prepared for our game world than to pick up the first ever faction:

After the completion of the campaign, the campaign will move into a pledge manager state, this process takes between one week and one month to finalise peoples payments and information. Once complete, the initial offering of four squads will be made available for download. We will be exploring delivering these files via Backerkits pledge manager as we have with the Kindred campaign
If we are lucky enough to meet the stretch goals, each will have different timelines. Our experience working with freelance and external sculptors has shown us that sculpting timelines can stretch out drastically. We will be making efforts to spread the workload with this campaign to shorten times, but nothing is guaranteed. We mentioned the following on our previous campaign "We anticipate a rate of 1 unit a month, with more complex units such as the landsub requiring two. However life can be busy, and with a small team, it is possible there will be delays here. Nevertheless, we plan to release each squad as it is ready, and fulfilment of the stretch goals will roll out over 2025" Reality and experience has shown us that two months is more likely per stretch goal. So keep that in mind as you anticipate your models.
In developing our Art and Lore goals for the Kindred, we realised the PDF supplement would require product photography and painting, product photography requires completed miniatures - As such, this goal requires the delivery of all the campaign files before it cam be completed. So the same can be expected of the Sisters, after the release of all files, we will produce and deliver a small lore supplement PDF with art and miniature photography that we wish to be reminiscent of a mini version of the codexes of old.
We have continued to deliver files for both our previous campaigns, with all models delivered for the Space Bears and now the final two stretch goals for the Kindred campaign wrapping up for delivery in the next month or two.
Overall, we are confident we will be able and professionally deliver this campaign if it is funded, we now have the experience of running a campaign on kickstarter under our belt and are ready for any curve balls that might come our way.
