Ham & Egg Publishing joins forces with prolific TTRPG writer Levi Combs to bring you a dark double feature designed for use with Shadowdark RPG. Two adventures. Two flavors of horror. One unforgettable campaign.
If Of a Harmonious Nature was written to be the best parts of an A24 film in the Hammer Horror style, then Nothing Left to Lose is SAW in H.H. Holmes' Murder Castle. This is horror with range: slow dread and frenzied ritual on one side, desperate survival in absolute darkness on the other.
The fog-shrouded mountain town of Skogstrand is under the grip of an ancient entity known as Prastr-Vem. It slips into minds and twists them into frenzied, ritualistic terror. The town has already begun to fall, and it will not stop until its will is fulfilled. As you arrive, something is clearly wrong. Strange rites spread through the streets, and the festival of Scythperchten looms only days away.
Written by John McGuire and Levi Combs, with cover art by Sally Cantirino, Of A Harmonious Nature is a full-length adventure for 4-6 characters, levels 3-5. A hardcover clocking in at approximately 80 pages, it will drag you through fanaticism, folk horror, and the slow corruption of a community that has already chosen its side. Will you discover the true reckoning that has set its sights on Skogstrand, or will you too become a part Of A Harmonious Nature?
Set free by your captor after a failed rescue mission, you are reunited with your friends, your gear, and a way out. The only problem is, it isn't the same way you came in. The only thing standing between you and freedom is the dark, and whatever is lurking in its shadows.
Written by John McGuire and Levi Combs, with a cover by Charles Ferguson Avery, Nothing Left To Lose is a three-level dungeon crawl for 4-6 characters, levels 3-5. A 48-page zine built on momentum, pressure, and the specific terror of a clock you can't see. Time is not on your side. Because if the torchlight fades to black, you'll learn that freedom really is just another word for Nothing Left To Lose.
Deluxe Double Feature Edition with Prastr-Vem Mini
Of A Harmonious Nature will feature a cover by Sally Cantirino and will be a hardcover, clocking in at around 80 pages. Nothing Left To Lose features a cover by Charles Ferguson Avery and will be a 48 page zine. Both will be printed on high-quality paper and comes with a PDF copy of the adventure.
Back at the Deluxe Double Feature tier, receive a miniature of Prastr-Vem, the big bad of Of a Harmonious Nature. FDM printed on a Bambu Labs X2D using a 0.2mm nozzle, standing at 70mm tall, and finished in glow-in-the-dark filament so it can haunt your table even after the lights go out.
Ham & Egg Publishing will fulfill the PDF edition via DriveThru RPG after all orders are locked and cards charged. Digital files will be sent out as they are ready, before they go to print, and this will be communicated via monthly BackerKit updates.

This campaign looks pretty cool, right? That said, looking cool is NEVER enough. I want to show you why the Dark Double Feature rules, and I want to do it LIVE.
Now, you might be thinking, “But I don’t usually get to play a game before I back it.” It’s a wild idea, I know, but stay with me here.
When I got into sales, I cut my teeth selling a high-end blender at big-box stores and on the State Fair circuit. I loved it because there was always a tangible connection between the crowd and me.
Such a thing doesn’t really exist anymore, right? Instead, what do we get? Ephemera and social media static.
It’s confusing, especially when you are considering plunking down your hard-earned money on a new game.
Luckily, I have a solution.
Come play Of A Harmonious Nature with me. No strings attached, no obligation to back this campaign.
Just pick a date and let me run you through a killer folk horror adventure, designed for the system that it's perfect for: Shadowdark RPG.
All I can promise you is a good time and maybe, just maybe, you’ll survive your stay in Skogstrand.
At the end, I’ll even mail you a commemorative pin from the session.

Ham and Egg Publishing is a New Jersey–based independent tabletop role-playing game publisher and the creative studio behind the 321RPG system. Founded in 2020 by two lifelong friends and creative partners (Geo Collazo and John "Hambone" McGuire), the company grew out of a pandemic-era creative project into an active indie publisher with multiple successful crowdfunding campaigns and a catalog of zines, adventures, novels, music, and experimental TTRPG titles.
Operating out of Kearny, NJ, Ham and Egg Publishing is still a small, two-person team focused on creating accessible, fast-playing games with a strong creative identity, collaborating with a network of artists and designers to produce distinctive, community-driven tabletop experiences.
