Immersive & Nostalgic
Easy to learn rules to get you RIGHT into the ring
Everything you need for 6 players is in the box!
*Updated 10/21 to include unlocked stretch goal achievements
In WRASTLEVANIA, the type of wrestler you choose also determines which die size you roll during the game. The Ace only ever rolls a d4 while The Monster only ever rolls a d10.
Your ROLE is your ROLL!
Other fun character creation elements are choosing if you are a HEEL or FACE and creating your PROMO. Oh, and you get to pick your entrance music too!
WARNING: WRASTLEVANIA is Rated M for Murder. You are going to die. Ultra Dracula and his minions are demonic horrors raised to the squared circle from the pits of Hell itself. Good luck, brother!
If you die, it's OK. You'll create a new wrestler from your same family lineage (with more skills) to continue the endless war against Ultra Dracula.
In a polymorph™ game, each player only ever uses their specific polyhedral die (d4, d6, d8, or d10). Each die represents a different “way to play” or a different “role” that they have in the group. Whenever a player asks “can I do something?” they roll their die and with a quick glance at a resolution chart, know if they succeed.
WRASTLEVANIA's resolver chart is called the WRASOLVER. The Ace rolls a d4 and The Monster rolls ad10 however they still need to hit the same number range to succeed.
There is NEVER any math involved when you play polymorph™. Depending on the game world and what kind of character that you are playing, you may roll with advantage or disadvantage, but the game master never rolls dice.
To recap:
No math! Roll your die and consult the Resolver Chart (WRASOLVER)
The GM never rolls, keeping the focus on the player.
Players succeed when they do things that their character is good at
Rules light with a narrative focus
polymorph™ is the in-house system for 9th Level Games and has already been used in 16 released core books including Thunder Road Vendetta RPG, Mazes Fantasy Roleplaying, Sentai & Sensibility, Pigeon's Eleven, and Kobolds Ate My Baby. The system won BEST RULES 2020 from IGDN Groundbreaker Awards (for Mazes Fantasy Roleplaying), has been nominated for ENNIE Awards for both Best Rules and Product of the Year (Mazes and The Excellents), and Mazes Fantasy Roleplaying has been nominated by Indiecade for Best RPG in 2022. Learn more about it.
WRASTLEVANIA utilizes QR codes throughout the game. This is still at it's heart a tabletop roleplaying game with only about 5% of your total gameplay will use a phone and access the actual QR code content.
Sometimes players will encounter a QR code in a room to scan to find out a secret or to learn more information about artifacts or history of in game content. And the most unique implementation is our QR code progression system (or QRawl). Below is a quick explanation of how players will be filling in circles on the QR codes as they go, and then after it is successfully filled out they can scan!
We won't be charging shipping until closer to delivery and shipping costs will be collected AFTER this campaign via the pledge manager. We estimate delivery for September 2026.
WRASTLEVANIA brings video game elements to tabletop roleplaying, so why not keep track of the high score!?
