Project Tasman is a sapphic science fiction/dystopia novel. It is told from the point of view of Alana Quevedo, a sous chef from Seattle. She wakes up transported to a facility somewhere in the remote Pacific Northwest where she is part of a nefarious government experiment known as Project Tasman. As part of this experiment, she must choose who lives, who dies at the hands of the experiment, and who is stuck inside, forced to live through the horrors of Project Tasman again.
From the author of the 2021 Queer Indie Award winner for Best Dystopian novel, Project Tasman takes a look at a plausible AI and simulation driven future and how those technologies can go horribly awry in the wrong hands. If successfully funded, the planned release date for Project Tasman is November 2026. With some caveats as to how well it's funded because if it's funded super well...there may be some cool things that'll come out after that date too.
