The community speaks! Choose the best twelve anomalies to get added to the book. Keep in mind: Polls on BackerKit have a character limit! That means that in the actual book, the anomalies / breaches will likely be a bit longer—expect something closer to a paragraph in length or longer for each entry.

Who killed the Professor? A violent barkeep seeking payment for money owed? An addict waitress in over her head in debt? An ex-business partner with a personal vendetta? A slighted brother sick of living in a shadow? A gang leader whose not against a little murder? Or was it Harton herself and this whole event a crazed plot?
Project Update: FREE MODULE: The Call of the Void + Collaboration Partner: HUNTERS!
Hello everyone!
We're a week away from Mothership Month 25! So it seemed a great time to throw out a nice little freebie module for those that jump in and follow the project. Those that are already following can grab the module straight from this update. Google Drive link below.
The Call of the Void
Can you save the crew? Find the missing Research Reports? Or will you too fall to the call of the Void!
Cross-Collaboration: Hunters
Project Update: Update #14: July Progress Update
- BIG NEWS: If you haven’t seen it come through, the PDFs of No Gods, No Masters went out to backers via the Mothership Month’ 25 Mega Pledgemanager! These PDFs include the module in pages, spreads, and a B&W, print-friendly version (which I quite like as it reminds me of the DC Unwrapped editions). Each version includes bookmarks and hyperlinks for easy navigation. I hope y’all are digging into the module and will come back with stories of your own climbs!
- Almost as big news: Sphere of Influence is complete! It’s currently with TKG for approval and I look forward to getting the PDFs out to everyone shortly thereafter. This took a little longer than expected as my developmental editor, Josh, was in the final phases of Liminal Horror: Deluxe Edition at the end of June. I’m pretty proud of this little zine, and the scenario contained within should be a damn good time.
- Printing-wise, No Gods, No Masters is currently with the printer. We’ve gone back and forth through a couple rounds of color-correction, but I’m hopeful to get those wrapped up next week and have the physical print-proof in my hands shortly thereafter. Sphere of Influence will go off to the printer next week and will likely follow the same process.
In other news, here’s some more cool stuff currently on deck:
- For those that backed both NGNM and Grim Merchants, the brothers Kramer have wrapped up the merchant-specific mission cards to be used with NGNM. I did a couple early review passes and they look fun as hell.
- As mentioned above, Liminal Horror: Deluxe Edition is wrapped up and ready for print! I highly recommend checking out the project as everything they’ve produced so far looks absolutely phenomenal. I personally can’t wait to get the book in my hands.
Sincerely,
15+ projects backed in 2024

Project Update: July Update + Digital Downloads + And Finished
Just want to let you know that I am officially done with everything Breathe Easy! Digital Downloads are with TKG and should be uploaded sometime soon if I'm understanding correctly. If anyone wants to let me know when they receive them that'd be great!
I had a ton of fun with bringing Breathe Easy to life, trying to really encapsulate the esports arena and busyness of the slickworld fandom on Pyramus. It's designed with a heavy ad-like signage influence, influence from cut-out collage sports poster style, and of course the branding of the racing game itself, Beach Breeze Rally DX which I really ran with with contrasted saturated colors against the black. Perhaps my favorite part was making the cartridges for the slickworlds themselves. I won't tease that though. It was a blast designing D. G.'s writing and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Till next time,
Marco

Project Update: WHITE HEAT: Stretch Goal: More Art!
During the campaign, we unlocked some more art as one of the stretch goals, and I'm exicted to share it with you!
Our artist, Strega Wolf van den Berg, has depicted the Gavaging Station, one of the Kitchen rooms. For those who've never tried foie gras, gavaging is the process of force-feeding or delivering liquid nutrients directly into the stomach using a flexible tube. Usually this is performed on geese. Our restaurant's taken it a step further.
We've also got a lot of the module finalised in layout now. I've included a couple spreads along with the new art piece (Kitchens in white, Below Kitchens in black).
I'll be getting the remainder of the content to Strega for layout in the next week or so, and pretty soon after that we'll be off to the printers.
Hope you enjoy the new piece!
