We are finally in the beginning stages of the Blight Eater, the Bright Spot book 2 campaign.
Here's some information about the campaign and what to expect.
The campaign launches October 29 and will run for about a month
You must make a pledge during this time, in order to receive any rewards.
Backers will receive their books 3 months before the official launch of the novel. So if you decide not to back, you will need to wait for the official release to make a purchase
Blight Eater does not have a release date, but I'm aiming for sometime during 2027. I am further along in this book than I was with The Bright Spot when I launched its campaign.
Every book purchased through Backerkit will be signed. Unsigned copies will only be sent via special request. This makes the backend side of the pledge manager less of a headache.
You will be able to purchase both books, the Bright Spot, and Blight Eater during the campaign
The Bright Spot Paperback and Blight Eater Paperback will both be $20 USD (slightly increased from retail value, but not as expensive as last campaign's pricing.)
The Bright Spot Hardcover will be $35 USD, with its own unique design
As part of the Book Bazaar 2026, there will be an incentive to pledge for more than one project. If you back 5 projects, you will receive a Book Bazaar anthology with mini-stories, poems, and more from artists like myself and the other participants. You really don't want to miss out on this.

We are at 38 people within the first week (which is amazing if you ask me) Last campaign we had 49ish by the time we launched. I think we can crush that goal and ultimately hit 100!! We know it isn't an easy decision you've made to join our rebellion. Know that any sacrifices you make will be remembered in song for decades to come. They may write books about how we overthrew the All Fathers and their Church of the Flame. Most likely, those books will not mention you by name. But, such is life for a foot soldier in the Rebellion's army.
To this end, we are hoping to recruit more people to our cause. If you know anyone who would be willing to sacrifice some of their precious time, Darius would be ever grateful. I am considering an option for a bundle which would include trading cards. This would likely be a T2 or T3 bundle option because of the initial art cost. The bundle would contain trading cards of all 5 members of the Green Thorn Warband. Would you be interested in these?
