Hey! I'm Matt Taylor, the author of The Vault of Kings series. I'm a regular dude from Idaho that loves to read, watch movies/anime, play video games, fish, hike, play sports... Kind of everything to be honest! I set out to write The Vault of Kings at a time in my life when I felt pretty down about myself. I wasn't sure where my life was going. I didn't know what my talents were. I felt like I had no 'calling' in life. Through several spiritual experiences that are personal to me, I believe that I have found my calling. Whether or not I ever become successful no longer matters to me. What matters is that I am writing the story that is mine.  I believe that I have discovered a talent that was hidden deep down within, one that I would have never guessed I had in me. I have a community in little 'old Idaho that feels the same as well, and wants me to try and share my stories with the rest of the world. I hope you enjoy reading as much as I did writing. I think it's something pretty special. For those who are struggling with deep emotions within yourself, I'd just give this one piece of advice: Whatever you think you can't do. Do it. You might surprise yourself.

Who really cares about the author? Yes, I write these stories and I love them.  My heart, soul, and even sanity go into every page. Beyond that, I don’t matter. Only the story and characters do. They’re what you came for and  I’d rather not dilute the experience by talking about myself. Little Dusha is a role-playing game publishing house founded on two principles: artistic quality and originality. Our works are creations where form meets essence: everything must make sense. From the cover design to the book layout, from the illustrations to the game add-ons, we design our creations as inseparable wholes. For us, role-playing is an art form that must bring together all creative disciplines—from illustration to music, including design, sculpture, and many others. We collaborate with both renowned and emerging illustrators and musicians, but always with human creators: no AI—not now, not tomorrow, never.

Mai is a crazy cat lady, doubling as a crazy dog lady, whose last words are likely to be psspsspss.    A fan of ballet, romance novels, music, movies, and just about anything that makes her forget this dreary world we live in, she’s been writing reports about the people who live in her head since she was eight years old.    When Mai first published under May Sage in 2015, she only intended to share her fun stories, but shockingly, people actually read those, so her dream of becoming a full-time author became a reality.  Mai moved away from short, simple novellas to jump into more complex plots and characters and worlds a few years later.  As her bibliography contains too many books of various tones, lengths, and skill levels, she launched two different pens in 2021: Alexi Blake, for new fantasy work, and Emm Darcy, under which she explores steamier, darker stories.

Hi, I'm Megan. Welcome to my project! I'm so excited to introduce you to the Skylark universe.  My writing combines my love of romance novels and spy thrillers. I focus on plot and character development with some spicy steamy bits thrown in. If you like books about strong women and emotionally intelligent men, you've come to the right place! I've been writing for as long as I can remember. Fiction, non-fiction, poetry, you name it. Skylark is the first story idea I've felt was good enough to share with the world, and there are more books, an entire series, to come!
