First of all I would like to say that everything has been going smoothly with all domestic and EU/UK and rest of the world orders, and it fills me with joy every time I receive a picture of the Water Pals in your hands :)
As for the ALL USA orders, there is some good news for you guys!
We tested the UPS shipping with a first small (5) batch of orders and all of them were held/returned except for one.
I know it doesn’t sound like good news but while dealing with UPS directly and trying to figure out ways to handle the situation, we tried to find a cheaper, tariff free and more immediate shipping solution for the US:
This means that we will now be sending all remaining USA orders via our national post office (CTT) and you guys will receive a refund accordingly.
USA correspondence via CTT was reestablished 2 months ago but with new rules (after tariffs) that I had yet to figure them out and test, until very recently when I used it to ship products from another project, and everything worked smoothly. What does it means? - The process is way easier, less complicated; - The tariffs are paid by the sender (me) so you just have to receive the Water Pals at your door - The most important part: it’s cheaper! Around 25€-30€ with tariffs already paid for a medium size package (5-6 pins.) So after some deliberation we decided to switch our plan and send the remaining batches via CTT.
To the one person whose package is already on the way, I will email you directly since I don’t think it’s fair for you to be the only one without a partial refund.
To everyone else from the US, you can expect a partial refund of your shipping cost. Partial refunds will be processed as packages are shipped.
You can expect a refund of between 5€ to 20€ depending on the size of your parcel.
I hope this wasn’t too confusing. We are still learning how to deal with the tariff situation and it took Portugal National Postal Service longer when compared to other EU countries to finally provide a more affordable and hassle-free way of shipping to the US again.

Pledge Payment Processing Backerkit has already processed your pledges! There were 24 failed charges in total. If your pledge was among them, please fix it as soon as possible 💛 you can also fix it later during the survey phase.
Surveys In the survey you can tell me which pins you want, which add-ons you want (if you pre-selected them in your pledge), your address and if you want to add any extra add-ons or extra pins :) I'll soon start sending out the survey smoke test. Some of you will receive the survey a little earlier (in the next few days) to test it and check for any bugs or errors. Once this testing phase is complete, you will all receive your surveys to fill out. ^-^
Shipping Shipping costs will be charged once the pins are on their way to me. This means that I can account for any fluctuations in shipping prices and that you won't need to pay everything up front during the first survey phase. I didn't pledge for the campaign, is there a way for me to still grab the pins? Yes, there is! I have already set up a pre-order shop – you can access it here! The pre-order shop will stay open until the survey deadline. Pins and other add-ons purchased from the pre-order store will be sent out with all the other backers rewards, around July.

The rest are in bubble mailers that I've separated based on the spreadsheet I have of everyone's pledges. I definitely think that I can fulfill them all early this week!
Things have been a little hectic… so, my fur ball is fully recovered from ringworm! It was a lot of baths that him and I got tired of…. But then I ended up hurting my ankle, and when that healed I sprained my back pretty badly… I was pretty much bedridden for two weeks… sitting and standing hurt… however, I have been working on fulfilling the pledges!! All the pins have been set into the individual pledges, and I’m pulling aside ones with goodies that would require a box (pin banners and plushes). I will be using this weekend to finish everything up and dropping them off this week.
I thought I have a picture of me working on everything… but I didn’t take one… I’ll post another update with pictures of all the pins, pin banners, and packages (with no personal info) when I get home!
If you would like me to hold your package or change your address, please message me asap!! I do read the backerkit questions that come in even though I am slow on responding…
Great news! The remaining designs are finally finishing production, and shipping to me! This should hopefully mean that they arrive in early November to be sent to all remaining open orders!

Our Holiday Market Sale will replace our normal Black Friday Sale and will have exclusive discounts on in stock items! Our Pintopia project will be our highly requested restock of our Sea-ta bags (sea animal ita bags), as well as a Wave 2 of new designs!
