Hello followers! We're so excited to be launching the campaign for Coven & Crucible: Reforged. This second edition makes the core mechanics of the game more streamlined. What isn't changing is the game's support of your unique character concept. The mechanics are there to support you in making the exact kind of character you want to play, rather than forcing you to change the character to fit the mechanics. The emphasis on collaborative storytelling is still there, encouraging characters to work together to solve problems.

If you haven't already, make sure to download the quick start guide here. It contains a quick run down of the mechanics, guides you through creating a character, a link to a Google Sheets character sheet our good friend and playtester, Googs, made, and includes a sample scenario. You can also find a video here in which roach guides you through creating a character using the Google Sheets.

Instead of factions, clans or classes, Coven & Crucible features Witch Houses. These are groups of witches who share a similar philosophy and approach to magic, or they are related by blood, or a combination of both. Witches join Houses for a variety of different reasons--resources, prestige, power, etc. Find out which House you would belong in by taking our Witch House Placement Quiz.

As we get closer to the launch of the campaign we'll have more information for you, including a special gift for those who pledge in the first 48 hours, polls and behind the scenes looks. We'll be hosting a live stream the day we launch, so stay tuned for information on that.

We encourage people to share our campaign to your friends and family, heck get your enemies on that share list, too. Word of mouth is the most powerful spell you can cast to help us succeed.
