Hi everyone,

A quick update on Wing Weaver - the proof copies have arrived, and they look absolutely stunning!

I’m thrilled with how they’ve turned out, and I’m so excited for all of you to see them in person. With proofs approved, the full order has now officially been placed with the printers.

In the meantime, we’ll be working behind the scenes to get everything ready on our end, including preparing and sending out surveys so we can organise shipping details with you all.

I’ve added a few photos here to give you a glimpse of just how beautiful these books have come out, though they’re even better in person!

Hi everyone,

I hope you have enjoyed diving into your pre-release copy of Wing Weaver. I just wanted to hop on and give you a quick update regarding where we are in the process of production and fulfilment. 

All art prints have arrived at A.P HQ and the Aviara Academy pins are also in production and should arrive in the next week or two. 

The most exciting part is the final book is in production with a proof copy expected at A.P HQ on Friday or Monday. Once we have this, if everything looks ok we should be good to go with ordering the print run of books. I will be sure to post some pictures once it arrives. 

This week I am travelling to Atlanta, USA for JordanCon where I will be on a couple of panels and talking to everyone that will listen about Wing Weaver. 

Thank you so much for your support, Wing Weaver doesn't release for another two weeks and there is already over 100 amazing reviews over on Goodreads. 

I will be sure to update you all as soon as the proof copy arrives.

Today is the day. The Wing Weaver ebook has officially been sent out into the world!

If you completed the survey, your ebook should be arriving in your inbox within the next few minutes. Keep an eye out just in case it lands in your spam or promotions folder.

I honestly can’t put into words how proud I am to finally share this story with you. This is a huge moment, and I’m so grateful you’re part of it.

We’re still in the official pre-launch phase, with the book not launching publicly until 28th April. If you enjoy the story and want to help support the launch, it would mean the world if you could help spread the word.

A quick update regarding the survey we mentioned in the last post.

After speaking with BackerKit support and looking more closely at the system, we realised that setting up the full BackerKit survey is more complex than we need right now. Since we’re not collecting shipping payments at this stage, BackerKit confirmed that it’s completely fine for us to use a simpler workaround to gather the information we need.

So for the moment, we’ll be using a Google Form to collect the details required for the next step of the project.

This form will allow us to gather:

I’ve attached the Google Form to this update, and I would really appreciate it if everyone could complete it at your earliest convenience. This will help us make sure everything is prepared in time for the upcoming ebook release.

Just as a reminder, this form is not collecting any shipping payments or postal addresses yet. Shipping details will be handled closer to the fulfilment stage when physical rewards are ready.

We’re now getting very close to the ebook pre-release, so collecting these emails soon will help ensure everyone receives their copy smoothly.

COMPLETE THE SURVEY HERE

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a quick update about the BackerKit survey.

I had originally hoped to send the survey out this week so we could begin collecting your details, addresses, emails, and the names you’d like included in the acknowledgements. However, after setting things up behind the scenes we’ve discovered that BackerKit is quite a bit more complex than we initially realised. There’s a fair amount of administrative setup that needs to be completed in the backend before the system will allow us to send surveys out.

Just to reassure everyone: we are not collecting any payments at this stage. We’re not planning to charge shipping right now, that will happen much closer to the fulfilment stage. The current survey is purely to gather the information we’ll need later.

To make sure everything is set up correctly, I’ve reached out to BackerKit support for guidance before sending anything out. It’s important we get it right the first time so that everything runs smoothly for you. Because of that, it’s likely the surveys will now go out sometime next week instead.

Myself and Catherine (PA) have been working hard to get this sorted as quickly as possible, but I’m also juggling the pre-release schedule for Wing Weaver and I’ll be at the London Book Fair all next week, which isn’t the most ideal timing! That said, please rest assured we’ll send the surveys out as soon as we physically can.

We’ve also reached out to our printers to check whether the ongoing global situation might affect printing timelines. If there are any changes or delays, I’ll make sure to update you as soon as we hear back.

On the exciting side of things, we’re now about 10–11 days away from sending out the ebook copies of Wing Weaver to everyone as part of the pre-release schedule, which is a huge milestone.

Also, for anyone interested, the audiobook of Wing Weaver is now available to pre-order on Audible. Audible have acquired the audiobook rights and will be producing and distributing it.
