Last Campaign Update - Final 24 Hours
Thank you to everyone who has backed, shared with a friend or community, or otherwise supported this campaign.
This is the first crowdfunding campaign I've run solo, and it's been a lot to get my head around. Seeing it succeed has meant the world, and it's all thanks to backers like you.
What's Next?
We're in the home stretch now, so I wanted to give a summary of where the books are at, and what you can expect next.

What's Next?
We're in the home stretch now, so I wanted to give a summary of where the books are at, and what you can expect next.
- The short stories are going to an editor, and then I can begin laying them out for print and e-books.
- We hit the Spot UV goal, but, depending on printing quotes and based on community feedback, that target might be better shift to make the books perfect bound (with a spine, classic novel style) instead of staple bound zine-style books.
- The Termination Notices novel is at the printers, all edited and ready to come to life. Nearly there!
- After the campaign ends, you will be charged by Backerkit. They hold that money for a while, giving me time to set up a pledge manager. Through the pledge manager, you'll be asked for your shipping address, and you'll get one last chance to alter your pledge. There might also be a limited opportunity for late pledges, for anyone who hasn't been able to back during the campaign. I'll talk more about the pledge manager in an update post-campaign, so keep your eyes peeled.
- Shipping and taxes will be determined post-campaign, based around the estimates from Critical Kit. Can't thank them enough for all their support on this one. Speaking of...
- The Cross Colab with Critical Kit was a huge success, putting us regularly at #1 in the Horror cross collab, and seeing us hit the peek of #3 across the whole of Printopia. Amazing!
So now it's down to the fates, and we'll have to wait and see what the last 24(ish) hours holds. Until next time!

Book Cover Reveal and Story Samples Released!
"It was beautiful – a little crude, but breathtaking all the same. Kane had gone through a phase of impalement in the nineties, when the idea of new and exciting tools and methods of death inspired him. This particular posing of the victim, with the pooling of blood directed to an engraved spiral beneath the corpse, was a mirror image of his first attempt at the art-form. He was lost for words."

A Dying Art
I hope everyone is having a day – now I'm either going to spoil it (or make it better) with some added horror.
PDF samples have been uploaded to Backerkit for both short stories and the novel. All you have to do is Follow the campaign, and you should be able to access them one of two ways:
- Through the "Your Digital Rewards" section of your Backerkit account (clicking here).
- Going through the main campaign page and clicking the link at he top in green text that reads "You are following this project. We emailed your rewards — view them in your account." (clicking here).
Please note that while it does say it's been emailed to you, it doesn't look like Backerkit's actually done that. Super helpful! Using the links above should fix that, though.
Cover Reveal
Ben's art has always really captivated me on all the projects we've worked together on. I'm really excited to be able to show off what he's working on for one of the book covers here. He's opted for a style closer to painting brush strokes than heavy line work, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results.

Not long to go now, so please keep sharing the campaign with anyone who might enjoy it – and thank you again for all your support so far!
