Hi, all! The Fairy Moth prototype is DONE, yay!! I am so happy with it! I apologize for the crummy manufacturer photos but they still clearly show how beautiful the design looks! What do you think? The wings will look a bit "wider" from the top, don't worry!
Surveys are still in review but once Backerkit approves of them, I will have them all sent to you! Thank you all so much for your patience! I wanted to make sure the more complex designs had undivided time dedicated to them and not rush them.
This is a short and sweet update but a super, super sweet one, nonetheless!
As promised, here are photos of some of the prototypes that arrived in the mail. Aren’t they so cute?! My twin, Rio, took all of these photos while I am out of town. They did such a good job!!
🌸 Jumbo Plush!
Here is a better idea of the jumbo plush size. As you can see.. they are huge! They are bigger than anticipated but honestly, I want to keep this size. They look truely cuddly and soft.
For the record, Rio and me are short! We are both 5’2” tall, or about 158 centimeters.
🌸 Surveys This Week!
Surveys will come this week, so get ready! :) I am so excited to see what designs you all pick in your survey. This is one of my favorite parts of running a campaign since some choices surprise me! I love seeing which one ends up being the most popular and which one may not be so but still loved!

Jumbo Kitsune and Jumbo Cross Fox plushies are DONE, yay! It took some tweaking but I am so happy they are finished! I wanted to make sure both of them looked good before sending out the surveys so I really appreciate your patience during this delay. I hope the wait was worth it!
🌸 Survey Progress!
Since the weekend is coming up, surveys won’t go live until next week. My apologies for that delay! I did not want to rush the prototypes.. ah! In the mean time, I am making sure the surveys look great and polished until the BackerKit team reviews them on Monday.
Thank you all so much for your patience! Fairy Moth Fox and Okapi are still waiting for their final phases but since they are SO close to being done, I will still release surveys next week. Of course, you can wait until the those prototypes are done if you are unsure, otherwise, you can always change your options on your survey as well!
On Monday, I will also receive a batch of prototypes and will share some photos! ❤️❤️
The manufacturer was able to make the muzzle of the Sakura Fox plush correct, ya! It is approved and will ship to me soon!
🌸 Fairy Moth Progress!
We had some issues with the Fairy Moth Plush and had to simply the wings. After working on it closely with the factory, we found a look that works!! What do you think? The manufacturer did an edit for me here but the final one will pretty much look like this!
🌸 Okapi Plush Progress!
Next up.. Okapi!! They are not finished yet but I was too excited to wait to wait until we got a final prototype and wanted to show you all now. I also wanted to share how I send revisions, which includes the redlined and a photo manipulation on the right side.
The main changes are:
Muzzle Shape
Printed (or sewn) stripes / no longer embroidery
Best of all.. the legs are all floppy, yay!!! What do you think??)

🌸 Sakura Fox Progress
The Sakura Fox is nearly done!!! The only change is the dark muzzle that the manufacturer keeps messing up.. lol! Don’t worry, these muzzle will be fixed before the sample is shipped to me. It came out so cute!!!!
Note: Nose will be changed to light pink!
🌸 Sakura Bunny
I decided to update the Sakura Bunny’s colors too to match Sakura Fox’s, yay! The dark pinks are no longer highlighter neon pink so they look softer overall. I am so excited to get these ones in hand!
🌸 Jumbo Cross Fox Progress
Blowing up the current Cuddle Friend’s pattern means we had to do some tweaking on the proportions. That being said, we are SO close!! The photo below is after I edited the muzzle (it needed to be shorter) but overall, I am so pleased!!
🌸 Size Comparison!
Here are photos from the manufacturer that shows the size differences from the Cuddle Friends and Jumbo Friends. As you can see, Jumbos are big big, yay!
Also, after speaking with the manufacturer, we decided that each Jumbo Friend will weigh 2 pounds each!
