Lemon Balm is available pretty much wherever books are sold. Late pledges will be available through BackerKit until the release day, essentially as a pre-order. However, aside from this campaign, Aloe will not be available until the end of October, 2026. There will be an audiobook in production soon, but that will not be available right away. Unfortunately, no. I will be ordering materials based on the pledged amount, so I will not be able to offer refunds after the end of the campaign.

For Aloe - You will get an email with a link to the book via Bookfunnel when they deliver in early October. It will then be added to your Bookfunnel library permanently. From Bookfunnel, you can add the book directly to your preferred e-reader library so that it functions exactly like any other book you've purchased. For all other e-books - You will get an email with a link to the book via Bookfunnel as soon as your pledge is honored. It will then be added to your Bookfunnel library permanently. From Bookfunnel, you can add the book directly to your preferred e-reader library so that it functions exactly like any other book you've purchased. For the audiobook - BookFunnel now delivers audio as well as e-book files, so same thing! You will receive an e-mail with a download link, which will allow you to add the audio to your Bookfunnel library and download it to listen to in your preferred way.

A BackerKit survey will be sent after the end of the campaign roughly two weeks after your payment clears (or immediately after you make your final Pay Over Time payment). The survey will collect your mailing address and your email address. You should insert your shipping address here. This survey will be editable until we lock them at a date closer to the actual shipping date. If your address changes, you can update your shipping address. I will send a reminder before locking addresses.

Yes, it will be up to each individual backer to pay their VAT and/or customs fees.

The BackerKit campaign will be finished on July 31st, 2026. The book releases to the general public on October 23rd. My hope is that the e-book will be delivered by the first week of October at the latest. Paperbacks and hardcovers are dependent on my printers' delivery times and needs, but I will keep you updated through the update feature on BackerKit throughout the process. The latest they will deliver will be in Q2 of 2027.

If a package is lost or damaged, please email me at [email protected] with pictures of the damaged item. If a package shows as delivered, but is lost or stolen, unfortunately I'm not able to replace the stolen package.

It's definitely recommended! Not all of the books in the Tales From The Night Garden series will be interconnected, but Lemon Balm will definitely make Aloe easier to understand. You do not need to read either book to understand Saccharine Silence, the short reward for early bird backing.

BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.

If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.

Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
