I realize that we said *Checks Watch*... two days ago that we weren't going to have a raccoon as an add-on in the survey, but I feel like ever since then my feed has been flooded with Raccoons. Specifically, this raccoon. The internet has dubbed him Jimothy. Jimothy is a small little guy doing the best he can. He has short spine syndrome, giving him a distinct round appearance.

Let us know in the comments and in the poll below. Regardless of the results, we will also be doing a second raccoon pin during the next campaign. The poll will be open until end of day Sunday EST and we'll officially add (or not add) the pin to the survey then with another announcement.
A quick update to let everyone know that the surveys are on the way. Y'all are fast since it looks like 14% of you have already filled it out! Thank you to everyone who got that initial smoke test and helped us work out some of the bugs. If you have any questions regarding the survey, please don't hesitate to reach out.
A few people have asked about the Raccoon and we did decide not to make it unlockable during the add-on/survey period. That being said, we will make sure the raccoon is available for the next campaign.
We'll also be collecting suggestions from everyone on what pins they would like to see next. Reading through the suggestions so far, a lot of you are looking to adopt mimics. Completely valid, but also slightly concerning. Are your characters safe from treasure?

We hope you've all been doing well in the last two weeks. We wanted to let you know that Surveys are going out SOON. We've got everything into the pledge manager and are just waiting for approval from the Backerkit team! From there, you'll be able to pick your favorite companions, pick out any add-ons, and if your pledge hasn't gone through fully you'll be able to fix it.
DiceGiveaway First up, we have selected the winners from the dice giveaway! We have a few dice sets to choose from, but they are limited so we'll be contacting people in order to see what they would like added to their pledge. If your name is on the list, keep an eye out on your email
Stretch Goal Designs Lastly, we know you've been waiting for the pictures of the last few stretch goals and we're excited to say we're ready to reveal them. Here they are in all their glory. They're pictured side-by-side to show the front base and the actual animal companion itself when folded down.

Just a huge thanks from us to you for making this campaign twice as large as anything we've done in the past. We're excited to start production on the pins and shipping them to you as soon as we can.
We'll be keeping you up to date, but here's a rough outline of how things will progress.
Pledge: Backerkit should have already charged your cards for the initial pledge amount, but be on the lookout for any failed charges and errors. We'll try to reach out to help where we can.
Surveys: These will go out towards the end of the month. It should be about 3-4 weeks as we want to give Raymond time to finalize some of the stretch goal designs. We'll share them in groups as he finalizes the last few. Once the surveys go out, you'll have a few weeks to make your selections.
Manufacturing: We're aiming to begin manufacturing the pins in August once surveys are complete and that process usually only takes a month to complete. That being said, we've never had such a large or complicated order, which is why the campaign page says we won't ship until December. We're going to try our best to beat that timeline though.
Shipping: We'll have a good shipping estimate before the surveys go out, but we won't charge shipping until the pins arrive at our door safely. You'll be able to see this when you complete the survey.
Raccoon Stretch Goal: We are pretty close to unlocking the Raccoon and we MIGHT have a way for us to still unlock it. We're going to check if its a possibility and if it is, we'll make sure its apparent in the pledge manager.
With just five hours left in the campaign the Ankylosaurus has been unlocked! That means there are now 15 different pins to choose from and the master ranger tier now comes with 15 pins instead of the 8 we started at!
The next stretch goal is the Raccoon, which may seem far away, but we've gotten 20% closer since I started writing this update so its definitely in reach. The need for more companions with grabby hands is high.
We'll be getting on stream at 2 PM EST to just hang out as the final hour of the campaign ticks down. We'll be finalizing the giveaway from the other day as well and announcing the winner! The current plan is to stay live until the campaign ends, which means a long backer train could keep us going pretty late.
