We're just 90 minutes away from the end of the campaign and are so excited to be bringing this project to life. Thanks to everyone for making this our largest comic campaign ever!

We're only about $600 away from our next stretch goal PLUS Suncrest is currently sitting at 81% of our engagement points to get everyone who backs a Suncrest project a freebie digital zine.

If you have anyone that you know would love Bound by Words or any of the other projects in Printopia let them know! As long as the backer train is moving the campaign will stay live in overtime mode!

While we're hard at work on Bound by Words, we also have a few other comics in the pipeline. We've dropped a poll below, let us know what sounds the most interesting.

Comic #1: Phantom of the Space Opera - (Sci-Fi Sapphic Romance)

After the last war ended, a decommissioned battle station was turned into an opera house as a gesture of peace for the galaxy. But the deadly AI still haunts the ramparts behind the stage causing trouble for the new owners -- the wealthy elite of a crime syndicate. Christine will need all the wits, skill, and vocal talent she has to infiltrate the opera house, take down the syndicate, and become the opera's new leading lady.

Comic #2: Red Beer Inn (Fantasy Adventure/Gay Romance)

Dunstan, a good-hearted but down-on-his luck dwarf and Hank, a cynical ex-cleric orc, couldn't be more different. But when they discover an abandoned baby human girl, they resolve to raise her together. Hijinks ensue as they try to live a life of adventure before settling down to run a tavern. But their pasts are never too far behind them. Will their love be strong enough to overcome it all?

Comic #3: La Navaja (Crime Drama/Sapphic Romance)

In New York City, a powerful crime boss known as La Navaja (The Knife) ruthlessly protects her community by keeping the gangs there in check. When external forces draw her into conflict with the Mafia, she must join forces with a policewoman to keep her family safe and to root out corruption in the city.

It's been a while since the last update, so we wanted to let you know that fulfillment is approximately 50% complete thus far! All digital rewards have gone out, so make sure to check your inbox if you haven't seen them come through yet. If you have any trouble at all, please let us know and we'll try to get it fixed ASAP!

For everyone who picked up tea in their rewards, we're happy to announce that they have arrived! Both teas came out wonderfully thanks to our friends at D&Tea.

Hey everyone!

We hope you all had a wonderful New Year! We're excited to report that fulfillment will begin next week! The books have arrived! We unfortunately didn't get to visit the print facility like we wanted to, but hopefully this picture will suffice.
 

We're extremely happy with how each of the covers came out, and we're excited to start sending them out next week.

In case you've never backed any of our comic campaigns before, we want to let you know that we try to ship everything extremely securely. Every book will be bagged and boarded and shipped within a Gemini Comic Mailer to keep them safe. We also usually pack them in a large bubble mailer to help protect the cardboard from the elements.

Since fulfillment starts next week, please keep in mind that we will be charging shipping on Friday (1/23) of this week in the Backerkit portal.

Hey Everyone, 

Sorry for the slow updates, but we’re happy to say we’ve been making progress and have an exciting update for you before the end of the year. 

Production is almost complete for everything!

We’ve already received candles, pins, and stickers. Check them out!

We’re expecting the books and art prints to be complete the week of January 5th. 
Since we print (somewhat) locally, we’re planning on driving down to the printer to pick everything up. We’ll send some pictures while we’re there if they let us!
