A quick update on where we are with the project and some art stuff we wanted to share.
First, Jared has been working hard on the layout and design. A computer failure and replacement slowed things down a bit, but he's back up and running and we are moving ahead. But our front cover is here and looking fun!
We have some spots available at our Gen Con game tables still available, look for "Big Convention, Little Mermaids - an Out of Water Body Experience" by Bardic Armadillo. We're also sending a Quick Rules guide and Pre-made characters sheets out to players. If you named a mermaid, you might recognize someone you know in those sheets :) .

We've also thought long and hard about your rewards, and so many of you snagged extra items and additional games, and those are already ready that making you wait any longer for that seems silly. So we're going to do a two part shipment, with everything except the Fish Out of Water materials coming just after Gen Con and then the Fish Out of Water materials shipping as soon as they are ready. We hope you approve.
The good news: The coin design has been approved and is being cast by our vendor now. The cover design is being approved this week.
The less good news: We are working hard on the layout of FooW, it's moving forward and looking super cute. We do need to admit that the layout is taking a bit longer than we had hoped. We've had to go back to one of our artists to get some extra page elements to increase the cuteness level.
What this means for you? We probably won't have the games delivered before GenCon. We know this is disappointing (for you and for us). BUT the game itself is ready, so we'll be running it at GenCon. There are seats available at these tables. They can be found in the GenCon Events Catalog.

We are only a few hours from the end of this campaign, and I have to say a huge thanks for all the support and mermaid love we've received.
And! Our coin artist has sent over the final design for the coins. We want you to be the first to see them.
Don't forget, the Ask a Mermaid Anything is still up, so if you have any questions for our resident mermaid be sure to send those over right away. Some of them will make their way into the book, but only those that we receive soon.

Oh, and we're going to add a new sticker option. Our fab main art team has finished the designs for our little crab character, Kani. So we're going to make a sticker sheet for him and some other mermaid stuff. And we've got the final mermaid character art, too. So we're going to make art prints of these characters available. You'll be able to order these items on the final Add-On menu when you get your survey.
