I recently played the game for the first time with an old friend of mine. We had a lot of fun. Right now, the consensus is that we'll need more miniatures for MACs, which is about as high praise as we can give. We ran the starter scenario as-is, and designing our own forces in the future looks like it will be even more compelling with campaigns and optional rules. A small review: I already thought that this was one of the best war games I've ever read, and I'm very happy that it played so smoothly and thoughtfully. The rules reference is really well put together, most of the things we needed to re-check were there, and we quickly didn't need to look at it much. I would ask for more but it's shockingly complete. I am eager for your next war game, I trust that it will be just as purposeful as this and the Doomed!
