Just in time to play Draw-A-Cyberfiend at home, we've attached a WIP slice of HELLBLASTER: Against the Cyberfiends that covers some background story, hooks, hi-tech items, and cyberdemon creation rules.
It's a WIP doc and still subject to revisions, but we hope you enjoy it. If you do end up creating any cyberdemon doodles at home, feel free to share them on social media or send them to us!
Design shop talk corner with Nick: Hi-tech items for high-level characters are an interesting design space. How do you make them exciting for characters packing at least +2 everything, casting 5th-6th level spells, and so on? How will they work for campaign play outside of this specific scenario? Following early playtests, the weapons and armour have already been patched to get a bit of a boost to compete with magic items. We have more tests coming up (including an actual-play video to be announced soon), and we'll see if they're up to snuff.
