Updates

Hey all,

I'm happy to announce that the PDF of RESERVOIR is finally complete! Today, both a 'pages' and a 'spreads' version should be landing in your inbox along with the Hell Unearthed PDFs.

The book was designed to be looked at in SPREADS, mostly designed with print in mind. It's recommended you read the PDF in spreads format, but I provided a pages version as well. All page number references and mini map areas SHOULD be hyperlinked. Please let me know if you come across any broken links, and I'll fix them right away. There is also a set of map files for anyone who wants them.

Next week, I will be working the Arcane Library booth at Gamehole Con in Madison Wisconsin. Therefore, I'll be locking orders before I leave on WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 14 2026. Please make sure your address is up to date and your survey is filled out.

I'll be placing the print order for the zines in the next couple of days, so when I return from the con I can get right to packing and shipping!

Thanks everyone! Have a great weekend!

Hi all!!

I'm excited to announce that the surveys have been sent out! Get them filled out so I can get the zine in your hands ASAP. I have a few more art pieces to finish, but I have the next two days off from my day job. Fingers crossed I can finish those up and be ready to print here soon.

Thanks!!!

Hi all,

I have official approval from Backerkit to go ahead and launch the smoke tests, and after that, the full suite of surveys. Upon completing surveys you should be given access to the beta PDF of RESERVOIR. The only real difference between the beta and the final product will be missing art and any typos people may find. I’m very excited to get this zine in all your hands.

IMPORTANT: smoke tests send out surveys early to 5% of backers in every pledge level. It's important that these are completed asap, so that the rest of the surveys may be sent out. Please keep an eye out in case you are a smoke test receiver.

Thanks for the patience!

Hello all,

I'm writing this update to inform everyone that RESERVOIR is nearly complete. I just launched a BETA version of the .pdf to all who backed! The zine needs a few more pieces of spot art, but I figured that since the words are done, everyone deserves to receive those words. Plus, then you know I'm still working to fulfill this long overdue project ><

It's been a long road, and I've learned a lot. Like I said at the outset, this is my first time crowdfunding a project. I'm glad I did it, but there is SO much I would do differently. I think the ideal way to do these things is to have the zine DONE before launch so that I can just hit 'go' with the printing company.

Speaking of printing, part of the reason I'm putting out the BETA version of the .pdf is to get any feedback on typos. My incredible editor, Jesse Winter, did a fantastic job with, well, the editing. I truly couldn't have done it without him. Buuuuut, that being said, we are only human. Please, if you find any typos, email: [email protected] with a citation and page number.

Keep your eyes peeled for surveys, so I can collect your shipping information.

I appreciate all of you for backing and making this project possible!

EDIT: See comment section below for more, but tldr; the beta pdf will have to wait until the surveys come out in the next two business days. Sorry all :(
