If Pluto's final numbers look modest, it's because Pluto had already been selected. It ran away with week 1, taking about a third of all votes and finishing roughly a dozen votes ahead of the next closest option, which only had a handful. Once it was chosen, later voters understandably moved on to other picks, and some of you may have come back to change your vote. The final tally undersells how popular Pluto really was.

Many of you shared 2nd and 3rd choices in the comments, so I added those to the poll votes to get a fuller picture of what you all want to see.

So we were looking for three. This means the Shuttle, JWST, and a potato-shaped asteroid will take those three spots. The other four spots will be craters, and we might just consider a small moon or Hubble for the remaining two. We’ll see what shapes and spaces are left. At this point, the grid starts to dictate what we need to make.
