Backerkit is a crowdfunding platform that is similar to both Kickstarter and Indigogo. It is a pledge now and pay later operation, meaning that you will not be charged until the project ends.
Once the campaign ends and payments are processed, I will be sending out surveys to everyone allowing you to add your address and make any final add-on purchases.
Unlike regular campaigns, the Winter Market features in stock items that are ready for shipment as soon as the campaign ends!
What does that mean for you?
There are no production times. Once the campaign ends, payments go through, and surveys are completed, items will be immediately shipped out.
As long as surveys are completed promptly and payments are made including shipping payments from Backerkit’s Pledge Manager, all items will be shipped before the USPS Christmas deadline.
For the holiday market, I will have bundles of various items with a couple not seen in a campaign before. I will also have an A La Carte option for you to build your own bundle.
Unless part of a bundle, most items will be listed in the add on section. If you would like to see everything that is listed, you can click the “add on” section on the campaign tab or click the A La Carte option.
**Please note: Backing cards may not be the same as you see in the photos as they are campaign exclusive. Photos are only used for reference purposes**
**Please know that some items are limited, and I only have a small stock of them. They will not be remade in the future so they are your last chance to get them before they are gone**
**Please understand that the timeline for shipping is only an estimate and are not set in stone.**
Factors that can affect the timeline include but is not limited to:
Survey Completion: If surveys are not completed in a timely manner, your packages may not be shipped in time for the holidays.
Errored Payments: If your payment doesn't go through and is not addressed in a timely manner, your packages may not be shipped in time for the holidays.
Survey Error: I plan on working on these as soon as surveys are available for me to work on, to get them out almost immediately after the campaign ends. If there is an error with the survey, there may be a delay with shipments
As long as there are no survey/payment issues, all packages will be shipped before the mailing deadline on my end. After that, I do not have any control over the timeline at which your items will be delivered.
All shipping fees will be charged during the survey part of the campaign. Please know the following costs are estimates and are dependent on the total weight of your order. The more you order, the more shipping costs may be:

Please note that you are responsible for any and all import/custom fees. These fees are not included into the estimated shipping costs above.
*Due to GPSR laws, this project is not available to those in the EU. You are able to use a friend, family member, or proxy who doesn’t live in the EU to back this project and have them mail the items to you.
**Due to the nature of international shipping, it is unlikely that your packages will arrive before December 25th.**
**All shipping will be completed on my end before the USPS deadline, however, I cannot control how quickly the postal service will deliver your items.**

Error in Survey Setup
Errored Payments
**In the event of a delay on my end, I will always do my best to communicate any issues that arise**
Shipping
International Shipping- Please remember that you are responsible for any duties or taxes if you live outside of the United States. Neither Backerkit nor Craft Quest will collect these fees.
Addresses- To ensure your pledge will be sent to the correct address, please make sure your address is entered correctly! Reminders will be sent before fulfillment begins. Craft Quest is not responsible for incorrectly entered addresses.
Surveys
It is extremely important that surveys are done in a timely manner once sent, especially if you would like your items before the holidays. If you don’t fill out your survey, I have no way to send you your items!
Any survey still not completed 3 months after fulfillment is complete will be considered a donation.
Errored Payments
Backerkit collects funds for approximately 14 days after the campaign ends. If you still have an errored payment afterwards, you have an opportunity to settle balances once surveys go out. If these are not settled in a timely manner, there is a less chance you will receive your items in time for the holidays.
